I ordered this item for my mum who is suffering with swollen feet and is unable to wear her normal shoes or sandals. Bought a size larger than normal and she loves them

This is the second pair I have bought. My first were the single strap version, which lasted over 5 years, with some very rough treatment (long walks, lots of rain, went in the sea sometimes.) Those are still going strong. The two strap pair however, after a few months of fairly continuous wear have started to split in the sole - by the front of the strap and sole joint. Don't know if it's a change in quality or just a different stress on the shoe with the two straps. Still the most comfortable shoes though.

My 5th pair of this style of Birkenstocks (Arizona) and as usual, I am not disappointed. Good fit: I say this bearing in mind that I have learned to buy a size 37, which is 2 sizes smaller than my usual shoe size, and that I have to take care to get "normal" width for my rather wide feet, not "narrow". Good comfort - and surprisingly warm even when worn without socks in the winter. Is this because of the flexing of toes I have to do when wearing them? Would recommend to anyone who wants to look after their feet in the way their feet would doubtless like to be looked after!

After reading reviews I wasn't sure what size to order. I am a size 5 with wide feet, I ordered a size 4 (37) and these are the perfect fit, although if they were any smaller they would be too small. I would recommend going a size down unless you are normally between 2 sizes then just order the smaller size of the 2 eg (5-6 then order a 5) (just 5 then order a 4)These sandals are super comfy and I love the basic design. Perfect for me and I will be ordering in another colour, great price too as RRP around £60.

These are the third pair of Birkenstocks I have bought through Amazon. The sole moulds to the shape of your foot, so within a few days of wear, they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The sole does start to darken after wear, especially if you get them wet, so try and avoid that, but on the hottest days they are still incredibly comfortable. I walk and stand up a lot in my job and have regularly worn them all day, without any problems at all. I recommend these shoes.

I do love these, but the size that I bought was slightly larger then I needed.I buy my shoes 1/2 size larger (my feet are 42 but I buy shoes 43).Now that is a good idea with shoes (because of socks and other things).But when buying sandals it's not a such a god idea ;)I would suggest you buy the size of your foot - and not the size of your shoes!

Very comfortable and great value for your money.

Need to make sure that if you are buying the unisex ones and you are a woman, you should buy slim fit ones as the normal unisex ones are very wide so they can fit a mans feet too. Apart from that a very comfortable shoe.
