I bought this with some trepidation. It is a nice piece, I'll say that. It is also not real quartz. It is plastic. A nice piece of plastic but plastic nonetheless. How I can tell? At the bottom, there is some chipping and when held up to the light, it is not quartz, milky or otherwise, that peeks through. I'm not saying it isn't nice to look at; it is. Just keep in mind, for anyone who collects stones, it is not one to add to your collection. It's a pretty piece to have on a shelf.

The product received is ugly and looks like it was made out of plastic. It has no similarities with the photos shown in Amazon. Don't waste your money.

I was kind of worried since you are sent a random cut that I wouldn't like the ones I received. I bought 2. I shouldn't have worried because the 2 that were selected are unique and beautiful in their own way. You will catch yourself looking at it all the time and no one seems able to walk by it without touching it.

Different shape than in picture, as you may never know what you'll get with random cut. Though, all gems are unique and special in their own way. Mesmerized still upon sight by luminous, rainbow glow and sparkle!

I thought that I would be buying a natural crystal with unique quality and color; however this "crystal" is not really pink but painted with a coat of pink paint. What a disappointment! Who will come up with the idea of painting crystals to make consumers believe that they are buying minerals with rare or unique colors? I certainly should have read the reviews before buying this product. Should I return it? Yes. Will I return it? No. I don't have time for this but now I know that I should be more cautious when buying minerals and crystals out there.

This made a great bday gift for a 6 yr old rock enthusiast. Looking at the bottom, it was pretty obvious that it's been painted or "coated," so I would not recommend this for a serious crystal collector. The color was fantastic, and it was a nice specimen, a tad smaller than I expected with no really impressive prisms extending on the top, but I was overall pleased with my purchase.

I wasn't very secure about receiving a product that would look like the sample when I placed my order but I was SO HAPPY when it arrived! Definitely just as beautiful, lots of sparkle and I would buy from this seller with confidence again :)
