I thought it would be just a sticker with a texture to make it feel more comfortable, but no it's actually even better than that, because it's actually plastic and have like a bump where you can rest your finger on and easily press the buttons.I was scared to install it since it's a sticker but it's actually fine to adjust if you stick it wrongly and will still be very secure in place. My fingers now rest very comfortably on the back buttons and I highly recommend it.Sadly I got the green ones thinking it will match with their green case, but no, the colors are off a bit but that is fine.

I never expected that I will be needing this. This works like a charm, I can now easily press the back buttons. Highly recommended.

Attached with a 3M adhesive. Should be strong enough to stick without damaging anything but it does include plenty of spare adhesive strips if they wear off. The cover itself creates a more natural angle for your fingers to rest on. I imagine the extra thickness will come in handy once I add a case as well.

Die Backpaddels am Steam Deck habe ich bisher kaum benutzt weil diese durch ihre flache Bauart für mich umständlich zu erreichen waren. Nun habe ich einen schönen Druckpunkt ohne zu verkrampfen. Nett ist auch das noch zusätzliche Aufkleber in der Packung liegen falls man die Backpaddels auf einem anderen Steamdeck weiterverwenden möchte.

Comme d'habitude avec Skull & Co, l'objet bien présenté dans son emballage, ça fait tout de suite une différence. L'installation se fait en deux temps trois mouvements, il y a juste à décoller les petites bandes adhésives sous chaque bouton, et à placer correctement ces derniers par-dessus les boutons arrière de la console. Même en essayant délibérément de les bouger en les poussant avec mes doigts, ils tiennent bien en place sans se déplacer ou quoi que ce soit, c'est rassurant sur la tenue à long terme !Que vous ayez une coque ou non, la prise en main des boutons arrières est tout de suite beaucoup plus agréable. En fait, la prise en main de la console tout court s'en voit améliorée ! C'est assez difficile à voir sur les photos du produit, mais la courbe présente sur chaque bouton fait que vos doigts se posent très naturellement dessus, sans avoir à passer 15 secondes à ajuster la position. Les boutons sont lisses cependant, si vous transpirez beaucoup des mains ça pourrait poser problème.Franchement, pour 8 euros vous pouvez acheter les yeux fermés !

I use multiple other Skull & Co products and prefer them over others, so I expected great things from these. But I feel they fell a bit short. I was using the PlayVital risers since they existed and held them in high regard but jumped at these when I discovered them.Pros:They do fit the buttons perfectly, even on the Jsaux back plate.The angles on them makes resting your fingers on them much more natural and comfortable.Cons:They're hard plastic. I thought they'd be rubber like the PlayVital ones. Rubber is much more comfortable and has much more grip. Even if they were untextured rubber they'd be better, but if these were rubber with a slight texture they'd be much better.They're not all that high. The height increase is barely noticeable to me. The PlayVital ones come with multiple heights so you can customize to the preferred height for you.Conclusion:They're alright. Adding a set that's a bit taller, and making them all textured rubber would make them the best.I'm going to continue using them, and will cut up some "anti sweat palm grips" to add a little more height and grip.
