Just works 3.5” is perfect for inshore shallower water
I love it the action is gorgeous looks like a real mullet I just got it in the mail today figure I would try it a little see how it casts didn’t even bring the boat out just went on the side of some marina nearby me through to the side of the dock on the first cast and caught this guy he inhaled it! I was using the “Injured mullet color” 3.5” also 2 lady fish. It works

Smims good looks pretty
This concept for a lure is awesome. The lure looked really good swimming thru the water the action was very realistic. I made 4 casts with it and I was really impressed until a Cuda shredded it with 1 bite.. then and just then I realized that it couldn't hold up to toothy critters that roam the beaches and bays.. I still use the Vudu Shrimp but won't purchase another Vudu mullet. Tight lines all

It worked great while it lasted
It worked great while it lasted. I think it made 2 or 3 trips before it finally came up with the tail missing. I did catch about 40-50 trout with it before it broke. Would buy quite a few more if it was $3 to $4 each but a bit hesitant at $8. I have about the same luck with DOA shrimp and they are quite a bit cheaper; or i could toss the cast net and bait for free....

IMO this is one of the best swim baits on the market for the price
These baits will catch almost any fish. I personally have caught speckled trout, redfish, and freshwater Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, numerous species of sunfish (bream/perch), crappie, gar, chain pickerel, and catfish (yes, I said catfish). And now, Egret is making a freshwater version of this same lure, the Vudu Shad.IMO this is one of the best swim baits on the market for the price.

Great idea but lacking
Use it on a light 13 fishing baitcaster and 10 lb braid with 20lb fluro for tarpon and snook. It stays on the surface and won't go down. Its to bad as it looks well made; definitely needs to be heavier.

Alligator Gar tested, fisherman approved!
One tough (and effective) bait! It was slammed by an alligator gar in brackish water feeding on bait fish off an oyster reef. I set the hook and fought the monster for almost an hour and a half. When I finally landed it, the gar was just under 5 feet long and full of teeth! The lure looked like it was almost brand new. Sharp strong hooks and tough body!

Realistic!
Super realistic! I have caught peacock bass and tilapia in fresh water. I have not tried saltwater yet.

fish bite it
I decided to buy this hook and try it out. I am new to Florida fishing and didn't know if it was good. Shortly after I began fishing I caught a jack carvelle and then a large lady fish and many bites.
