Awesome
Ok, so this thing is pretty awesome. I'm a big fan of how the top rim is reinforced. It makes removing the block alot easier because the rest of the mold sort of collapses while peeling it out. I run water along the outside of the mold immediately after removing it from the freezer, and the ice pretty much comes right out with a little maneuvering. Without running water over it you will need to let it sit. It's alot of ice. It's easier to get this 10-12lb ice block out than some of my silicone whiskey stone molds. Look at the dimensions...these blocks are BIG. You can build an igloo with these. I'm actually looking at getting a small deep freeze just to accommodate ice blocks. Is that bad?? I put a single block in a roto molded ice chest with 60lbs of bag ice in 50° weather and after 4 days there is literally only a tablespoon of water in the bottom. Wild. The ONLY knock I have is that the blocks have been coming out with a bulge in the bottom. If you look at the picture out of the mold closely you can see it. I'm not knocking my rating though because I think it has to do with my freezer shelves giving under weight. The bulge significantly reduced when I put it on the more sturdy bottom shelf. I'll keep experimenting to find what I'm sure is the solution for a perfectly rectangular block. Just buy it, but I warn you...you will run out of room and be looking at another freezer just like me. Hope the tips help.

Easy to Get Ice Out of Mold
As another reviewer noted, these are so easy to get out of the mold. Nothing like the nightmare bourbon ball ice molds. Just peel one end down and out it comes. I use these to keep beverages cold in a cooler. Works much better and longer than ice cubes! If you are buying to make an igloo, I have not had much success with making a perfect rectangle. Bumpy on top and usually not flat on the bottom. Could be my limited freezer space.

Great Product....But.....
Got 3 of these a few weeks ago. Love how they work and keep my plunge cold during the hot summers in California. The only issue I have is that every time I use them, they leave a white residue in my tub....you can see it in the tub after they pop out. Not sure what to do. I rinsed them off before I used them with warm water, but still have the "stuff". Other than that, we are good!

It's the better of ice molds
After buying various brands of ice molds, this is by far the best I've come across so far. The top rim is very rigid (coated steel), making it easier to peel down and off. I've found the all-rubber molds to be much more difficult.

Good Quality and Value
I have made 6 blocks of ice so far and all is well. Great value in the long run. I like the large size compared to similar but smaller items I have seen.

Does the job..
Wanted something big enough to keep my drinks and food cool throught the whole day in my cooler..This thing makes a huge ice block and it doesn't even melt half way when I arrive to my house after a 12 to 14 hour day..And the best thing is that I reuse the same block of ice for another 2 days continuously without having ro make another block of ice..
