Quality was not what we expected. But it looks cheap. You get what you pay for. I bought it against my judgement because my grand daughter liked it from the picture!

the pendant is tiny but will look good on a 5 - 6 year old. Since it came after Christmas, I am holding it for a later celebration.

Mood unicorn necklaces are magical. This one changed colors like crazy, but can't get wet. The cord isn't strong enough to be a choking hazard although the pendant is too small for two or three year olds who still put things in their mouth. Also, if it gets mouthed, lotion, or wet during bath time it's done for. I made up a revised emotion list for the colors/moods. The ones that arrived in the package were way too adult! This is children's costume jewelry you know.

My wife purchased this for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas. She uses it to check all our moods constantly. She absolutely loves it. I would recommend getting a back up necklace for it though. Aside from that it works well and is a good gift for girls her age and a little younger.

Bought this necklace for my 7 year olds birthday , She absolutely loves it and prefers to wear it more than her other horse necklaces . Very nice quality and it does change colors . Color description sheet isn't the funniest or funnest for smaller children in describing color moods but overall, would definitely recommend for those little unicorn fans!

My four year old granddaughter loves unicorns and loved this necklace. It contains a sheet of paper telling you what mood all the colors signify. The only drawback is that she can't put it on and take it off by herself.

This is a great buy. The pink necklace is smooth and the perfect length for my 5 yr old, and the unicorn “mood” charm changes colors based on the temperature. I’ve seen several different colors like pink, peach, green, blue, purple, teal, and I think I saw yellow once. There are probably more colors but those are the ones I’ve noticed. I had to buy another one for my 8yr old because she loves it so much.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is on the spectrum. We use it to show how her moods can change based on her activity. Surprisingly this has helped her integrate more calming techniques and/or movement as she watches the colors change to reflect her emotion. If she is stressed (black), I’ll say “What can we do to make it blue?”An inexpensive, adorable learning tool as well as a cute accessory.
