Added four light in a bedroom that was darker than we wanted. These are great. He hooked them up to a light switch and cannot believe how long we put up with a dark room. My wife used the app to change the color and all is working great so far. Will buy again for another room.

The media could not be loaded.  You can offset them and create color patterns if you get creative with blocking the remote signal. See attached video. I’d you want to sync them all back up just then the power off and back on at the switch. Fairly simple to install I used 100ft of stranded direct burial/indoor/outdoor 18/2. It’s good enough for my needs. Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of more expensive models like Alexa, WIFI/Smart Phone control, etc.Cons:Low gauge wire.No easy disconnect.Small junction boxes.I doubt they are actually CE or EU equivalent even though it says they are but it is such low voltage it likely doesn’t matter.With the bump on the top it will not fit under a ceiling joist like competitor models.One remote press doesn’t work to change all lights. I had to walk around the room and press it 4 times to get all the lights to turn to same color.Not really dimmable except for white, which is the brightest out of all the colors. Red is second brightest. Colors can’t be dimmed and not compatible with a dimmer switch to my knowledge.Pros:Cheap in price.Can probably program the IR to my universal TV remote.Great value for the price.I like the color of the bright white.It has color memory when you turn the light off at the switch it remembers the last setting it was on.

So after a lightning storm took out our original home lights I purchased these. Product is exactly as described. Fast shipping and brand new. Now to the installation. I would rate these as a super easy to install. They came in a pack of six. After about a year I had two burn out. They are so inexpensive I didn’t mind though. The other 4 are still going strong. We use them every day. Wife is super happy with them and loves the slow fade color changing setting. These are a definite must have for any place. The white lights are bright without being blinding on high. You can dim them as there are 3 brightness settings. They are a great add on because if you have company and just want normal light the white is perfect and you can’t tell they change color. So it’s also surprising to guest when you just start changing the colors. Over all I would definitely buy these again.

These lights are awesome!!!! I bought them to install (I know the manufacturer says is for indoor only) on my light fixtures in front of the house. I needed to do some extra work removing the original led lights and making a bigger hole in the metal plate to install these lights. I also sealed my light fixtures to not allow any bug or dust to go inside. Their app is awesome. I had the light changing colors on this holiday season. Because of the dusk sensor on each fixture, each night, I have a different color on each one of them. If you want to have all same colors changing together, turn it on and off on the switch or have on sensor for all fixtures. The colors are awesome. I paid attention specially in the orange color, other brands that I tried before didn’t have a good orange color. On this one all the colors are very strong and vibrant. Only good things to say about this product. Even if one of them burn for any reason, I will buy again.

I am a electrician and mechanical engineer by trade that uses these ALL OF THE TIME for my business. They are by far the best value for a 4” recessed RGB light that you’re going to find on Amazon. I use them under eaves of homes, under cabinets, in ceilings, and have even used one to backlight a television for a customer once.Pros: They have recently upgraded the connectors for the lights that make them far more secure and easier to connect the wiring.I have yet to have one fail on me in the 3 years that I have been ordering them.You can utilize as small as 16 gauge wire to install these. I like using the 2 wire solid thermostat wiring with the brown jacket.Cons:They could stand to be a little brighter in the “white” setting, but they are definitely responsive and bright. They can get washed out by other lights in a bright room, but when it’s gets dark or ambient light is reduced, these are a killer color wash.If there was an available controller to “sync” all of the lights to perform simultaneously at the same color/pattern, that would be something I would happily pay for. As it stands, they are all individually controlled by the remote, so it’s hit and miss on syncing them up perfectly.

I like the remote, I like the lights, they work great. I *really* like that they do *not* require any kind of App or account or smart phone or wifi. They are simple enough to operate with the included remotes (yes, plural, it came with 2 remotes).My only wish is that there was a version that I could fasten onto a standard 3" or 4" round ceiling junction box. I have a new home construction in progress and I want to use standard electrical junction boxes to house the wires, so as to be compatible with other lighting types for future possibilities.It seems a simple ask, but the only j-box mount lights I can find either require you to use an phone app, or they have no RGB, only shades of white light.

These are not UL or CSA certified and do not have an appropriate method of connecting to a live circuit under the NEC. The wire connectors included in the box are low voltage connectors and there is no ground wire. I purchased based on the positive reviews, they must have been from non-North American customers. Bummer. Can't find anything similar that has decent reviews.
