Yes it appears to be unrefined, but the capsules are made from GELATIN (cow bones and hooves) and the product should not be bought by VEGETARIANS - so I threw mine away after I saw this on the label.

Q: Is this expeller pressed?

Hi Kimberly, I can't tell the difference in the product being pressed versus other methods. What I do know is that this brand wasn't anymore effective than other 1000mg brands that I used in the past. l believe that the 3000mg label is misleading to consumers, as the suggested 3000mg wasn't any more potent than the 1000mg.

No they aren't white, more like a tan color and you can see the coconut oil inside.

Q: Can you tell me the approximate size of these softgels? Are they relatively larger as in a multi-vitamin or smaller as in your typical aspirin?

i take the 3000mg soft-gel size is 15/16th long or as close to an inch as you can get. i have never had any problem swallowing the soft-gel. i have seen and swallowed multi-vitamins way larger than this coconut oil supplement. but these are larger than asprin or even an asprin free tab or cap. hope this helped.
