They work small to take up less space & easy to “ operation .”

I ordered the white ones for a “candlelight” service and they were completely blue. Not like blue-ish white, just straight blue. And they were pretty dim.

Parties or emergencies, chem-lite/glow sticks are useful and fun.This pack comes in one ~9x6x3 inch box, which contains two plastic foiled bags, each containing 50 sticks, caps, and lanyards.A glow stick leaked in one of the two bags. Apparently, the contents of a glow stick are oily. I had to wash the remaining 49 sticks, caps, and lanyards in that bag with soap and water. I consider this a fluke though as the other 99 sticks were fine.I’m unfamiliar/haven’t researched the illumination chemistry/factors of chem-lites, and I don’t have much experience with them to compare. But these are smaller and seem dimmer than the (typical) larger and thicker sticks I’ve seen on occasion. So these are probably better for parties than emergencies, but I suppose you could use 2-3 for equivalence.These glow “decently” for about 45 minutes, then mildly glow for another few hours. There is diminishment in brightness over time of course, but seemingly less-so after the first half-hour.Bottom Line:Smaller size than “standard”, but good glow sticks. Good value pack.
