Very nice airsoft
This is a great little airsoft gun. It's quite realistic looking, with all the little details done well. The switches feel solid, the sights are pretty good, and the charging handle is non-functional but holds up well to my repeated habitual pulls. I love the stock, and my son appreciates that he can use it to shrink this down to a usable size for a small kid. The gun is fairly heavy, which is reassuring, but can be a challenge for a smaller kid over time. Balance is good, and the battery is easy to change.I wish this came with one extra mag for the price, as sourcing a new one was a pain and took forever. Come on Sig, this has full auto you know we'll want one, so hook us up! Overall, a great option, especially for smaller statured kids who want more than a pistol, but are too small for an AR.

Fun, well-built AEG for beginning or advanced airsofters
This is a great replica airsoft weapon for a famous manufacturer. Obviously, there are many operation differences, such as the charging bolt which if decorative only and functionally useless. The folding stock is really cool, giving you the option of using the gun with/without. I had a bit of trouble at first figuring out how to fold the stock, but once I located the official manual (not included in the box), it explains the process. (In a nutshell, the stock is folded out and locks into place. To move it back alongside the gun body, you have to lift up slightly on the stock to release the locking mechanism.)I believe this gun is speced at around 300 fps. It's hard to imagine a bb flying the length of a football field in one second, and I didn't test this. But the gun definitely shoots hard, fast and far. There's the usual "hopup" mechanism to make adjustments if you're shooting too high or too low.In my opinion, the front and rear sights look and feel cheap. They're plastic and must be flipped up or down manually - they aren't the type that flip up at the press of a button. I plan to replace my sights soon, which should be easy because the built-in picatinny rail is the standard size.My main issue has to do with the battery, or lack of. To be honest, at this price I expected the gun to come with a battery. Evidently it's common industry practice for airsoft guns (even high-priced ones) to come without a battery, but these days even electric water guns and gel blasters come with a battery. My other complaint is that it's REALLY hard to get information about what battery type (Li-Ion, LIPO, NMH etc.), configuration (shape), voltage and so on to buy. I had to hunt to find this information because it isn't in the official manual, which I also had to hunt for online. The manual does haves a procedure for installing the battery, but the only guidance on what to buy is, "Don't use a battery whose voltage exceeds 9.4v because doing so could cause damage to the gears."FYI: The correct battery for this gun is a "Stick type" with mini Tamiya connector. There are many voltages available, but make sure the voltage doesn't exceed 9.4 v. And if you buy a LIPO battery, you definitely need to use a balance charger to charge the battery so that all cells are charged equally. Using anything else could result in damage.Confusingly, round batteries are also called "Stick batteries," but don't get these. You want the flat, rectangular-shaped ones. I ordered round ones because I thought they'd work, but they didn't fit inside the barrel. All in all, this is a great gun for the airsoft enthusiast. At first I thought the price was a little on the high side, but after researching batteries I discovered that the price is in line with comparable models.

Excellent quality airsoft gun!
This is an excellent quality airsoft gun in my opinion! It is made by a very well-known manufacturer, and it lives up to the top notch quality of their other products. I like that the gun is set up to be customized and that it can be used by either left or right handed individuals with ease. One thing I didn't like was that it did not come with a battery. However, I am not deducting any stars for this, and I am still very pleased with this product. Therefore, it receives the top ranking and recommendation from me all the way!

It's sig so you know it's quality
I've never owned an airsoft before but we do own a couple of sig handguns and know that the quality is impressive. It should be impressive, they are one of the most well known and oldest firearm companies out there. If I am not mistaken, they handle a lot of military contracts so, they better be dependable. Not so much a worry with an airsoft but, based on reputation and my own experience with sig, I knew it would be a quality choice. I wasn't wrong. It has a very nice folding stock/stabilizing brace that's very easy to use. Even with my tiny little hands, I can fold it back up with just one hand. I almost got the same brace for my cz scorpion. Very easy to load, I have no issues with the mag at all.The only thing I think you really should know is that it does not come with a battery. I thought maybe as usual I didn't read the entire post and it probably stated that somewhere. I went back and looked and couldn't find anywhere where it doesn't come with the battery. Not a biggie, they are relatively inexpensive but, if you don't already have one, you won't be able to take this right out of the box and use it. I am hoping to keep deer out of my garden with it this summer. Since we live within city limits, not advisable to discharge a real firearm unless, you always wondered what it was like inside the big house.

Nice replica, great for beginners
Good quality for an airsoft gun at this price point. I am not an expert at all so it took me some time to figure out what battery to use and what pellets to get, etc but it hasn't been difficult at all to get it up and running. Comes with some pretty basic plastic iron sights but you can mount aftermarket sights or a scope if desired. Feels good to hold and shoot and the quality is not as good as the real thing but it's pretty good for airsoft. No major complaints. Haven't had any issues with the gun jamming or running out of battery too quickly. It's been great as a first automatic airsoft gun and I've mostly been practicing my aim on various targets.
