BondtechWanhao D6 Upgrade Kit

I installed this on my Monoprice Maker Ultimate following instructions on the given card for the D6. The instructions say that if you want to flash the firmware, you can skip swapping pins for the extruder motor (this is done to keep the motor from spinning backwards). I was not planning on flashing new firmware to my machine, so I swapped the pins. After I noticed that the print assembly would hit the back of the machine during bed leveling. I then swapped the pins back and flashed the firmware which seemed like the easiest solution to fix this problem. However, after flashing I noticed the extruder was running backwards and had to yet again swap the pins, which ended up breaking one of them. I was able to repair the issue, but the instructions I feel could be a little more clear.After fixing, I test printed and it seems to work fine. I do not notice any huge improvement yet, but I can attest that this is built well and ground filament will probably no longer be an issue. Loading filament seems to be a bit easier as well.

Was very easy to install, and works 100 times better than the old one. Installed on a monoprice ultimate 3d printer. This is a great upgrade for your printer!!!!!! If you are thinking about it pull the trigger, you won't be sorry.

Kit assembled with ease. Updated the firmware and haven’t had any issues at all.
