Excellent clean and easy to use

I think it is pretty difficult to compete in this space given the brand names out there like 3M/Scotchguard. The spray is transparent and appears to disappear as it should. Water beads nicely. Suede still looks like suede. Time will tell though if this truly protects from stains and oils... and if it is a better product than the other guys.

I used this product to remove some food stains (pictured) from a pair of black suede boots. The spray worked as expected and the spots came out with light brushing with a suede brush. When cleaning dark suede material my main concern is that the cleaning agent does not remove the color from the suede. this product was gentle in that regard and I would feel safe using it on my higherend suede items after testing them for colorfastness as a precaution.

I think this suede cleaner works pretty well. It’s easy to use, you spray it onto a damp sponge and squeeze it until it bubbles/foams and then use that to scrub your shoes. You let them dry, then use a suede brush to brush them clean. It does have a pretty strong chemical smell, but I think that’s just how it’s going to be with suede cleaners. I used gloves while handling the cleaner to be on the safe side.The shoes I tested this out on have light pink suede, are a few years old and have never been cleaned before. So they were a pretty tough test. The cleaner definitely left the suede looking a lot better, although there are still some spots that won’t come totally clean. If I was more proactive about cleaning the suede right after it got dirty or at least doing maintenance cleaning every few months this cleaner would keep them looking great. So I don’t think this is what you want to use on a thrifted suede jacket with mystery stains, but for regular suede maintenance it’s a great pick!
