Gillette Mach3 Power Razor

I actually never liked the Proglide or Proglide power, switched back to Mach 3 again, thought I would give this one a try.Using this razor is rather delightful,I was using a regular mach 3 blade and you get a really close shave( better than pro glide in my opinion ). The on/off button is well placed , no accidental turn offs the way I hold it.One word of advice is use the power mechanism when you have no more than a 2 day beard, or else it will snag on the hair , not a good feeling.You can use the regular Mach 3/ Turbo blades, the really expensive Power blades are unnecessary.Everyday shavers will love this.PS:

After many years of service my original Mach 3 razor mechanism to click on the new blade wore out. Unfortunately, this original model seems to have been phased out in all the supermarkets so was pleased to find one on line, as the blades for its 5- bladed new replacement are so expensive. Recently I tried the Aldi 5- blade (unpowered) razor which has inexpensive blades but the Mach 3 Power razor feels smoother.

Ok, here goes, a review of a razor: I've always struggled to find the right razor - electric shavers just don't cut it, cheap disposables cut too much, and there's been nothing in the other ranges that has agreed with me. This masculine testosterone fuelled sounding "Mach 3 Power" is superb, vibrates gently for a smoother closer shave, balanced in the hand, and blades easy to replace. Recommended for men who need a decent shave.

Can't find these in the shops so easily now. Gillette of course are as usual trying to get everyone on a later (and much more expensive) product.But I have used these since they were introduced and they are just fine for me. I was so pleased when it arrived and was better looking than thefirst issue. It is just a pity that Gillette have such a strong monopoly on the replacement blades the price is getting a bit silly, ( that's the only reason I give it 4 stars rather than 5), but still not as bad as the later razors,

You must be psychic. I couldnt remember where I ordered this from, as I decided I wanted another one as back up. My husband really likes this razor, he has an electric one, and other types of hand razors, but this is the best as far as he is concerned. So thank you.

My husband is very pleased with his purchase. He bought this to replace his last Mach 3 which he had for many years. Hopefully this one will last as long.

Delighted to get this item as you can't seem to get it in the high street now. Having just bought a pack of blades which are freely available my husband was not happy when the razor itself packed up.Fantastic,extremely quick delivery. No problems at all.

This is poor compared to the Mach 3 Turbo. I can't get as close and the vibration makes the experience uncomfortable. I'm gutted I bought extra 8 cartridges at the time of buying the handle. Can't wait to revert to Mach 3 Turbo once they're used up.
