TGIMS450 Lightweight Music Stand and Carry Bag

As I walk of cycle and carry my music stand to rehearsals this was the lightest and smallest when folded I could find on Amazon. Some reviews said it's difficult to assemble, others said you need to read the instructions and that is true - you need to know to press the button whilst not holding the other side. It's a perfectly functional easy to assemble lightweight small music stand.

This is a very good lightweight and reasonably sturdy music stand.I've sewn a handle to the bag to make it easier to carry (this would be helpful addition).The hinge ratchet mechanism is such that you have to hold it in a certain way to raise the top section, so it's a bit fiddly but you get used to it.Overall it does the job and is light enough.

Not keen on the ratchet at the top, but that’s just because I struggle a bit with arthritis in my thumb.

Excellent stand but quite hard to operate the angle adjuster of the desk. I hope that this will get easier with use.

This is a great stand and weighs half that of my wife's stand. Something that I gloat about when we're carrying our equipment to gigs. It is incredibly sturdy too for its light weight. Had to buy pegs though as my magnets no longer find it attractive.

Is actually lightweight AND stable.

I may have been unlucky with the particular music stand sent to me, but the bottom fastener did not engage properly and so the stand would sink down and had to be returned. I thought that as the stand was so expensive - £25.74 plus postage, it would be better than the average stand, but it was not. Had the clips fastened as they should, I would have probably have thouoght it was a good lightweight stand, but not worth £25.

I bought this as a present for my Husband and he is delighted with it. Very light and easy to move. One happy viola player!
