Fantastic for the money. Using copper to install an outdoor shower and needed 8 compression joints. When compressed completely the joint may take some wiggling and pulling to remove from the jaws but each joint worked perfectly.

I was very surprised by how easy to this tool it to use. It only takes 1-2 minutes to set up and complete a press. Seems sturdy and well made.

After the boiler manufacturer discontinued its $500 primary/secondary manifold, I was at a loose end. Tried using pipe fittings and flex connectors without success. Considered soldering, but the equipment and supplies are quite expensive, and I was not confident about my ability with such large fittings. Then I saw this low priced tool and decided to try press fittings. I easily made manifolds for about $70 in copper tube and parts with this tool and will now use press fittings instead of solder or push connects for future projects. The only drawbacks are the lack of instructions, there is no way to tell when to stop pumping and the tool raises large burrs (at least on 1'' fittings) that make it hard to release the dies. Liberal lubrication helps. Still, paid for itself with a single use.

Works but I feel like the jaws aren’t quite the right size or shape. They pinch the fitting where they come together and displace a lot of material leaving sharp burrs. Still a good alternative to battery type tools so long as you have enough room to fit this tool into where you’re working.

Great value- works perfectly. Thw different dies are solid!

No instructions included especially on how to change the die heads, I can't get the installed one out. UPDATE finally figured it out, they really do need to include instructions.

All came in as described, it looks solid and good quality, unfortunately not tested yet, as my husband bought it for future projects.
