Large Sweet Tamarind Pods, Whole Fruit 100% Natural, Dried Fresh Tamarindo 16 Oz

Love it! I am new to Tamarind, I wanted to try it for the potential benefits. The fruits seem fresh and sweet. To me it tastes somewhere between dates and figs. Be careful of the hard seeds inside. It's a little bit fibrous, but easy to separate that from the fruit. The shells open easily. I haven't tried it in any recipes yet, just snacking on them. Most are larger/longer pods. In my picture, it's a small one, the first one I tried. Enjoyable, I will order again.

I enjoy the taste. They have a pleasant mild taste. A little sweetness similar to dates and rasins. From research ALOT of healthy benefits. It's worth the odd appearance. Each pod contains 3-4 seeds.
