When it comes to sound quality, they block out the background noise. I can hear everything clearly. it's great sound for conversation.The build seems good. The boom is adjustable to use on either left or right side, and can be moved closer or further from your face to fine tune the microphone pickup. Never hurts--even after a long conference call to the office.There is a volume adjustment and single call button inline on the cord which helps for fine tuning the volume or answer/end calls, allowing me to leave my phone.I really like it and will replace my current one with this.
