So far so good
I’ve been using this for a couple months now and love it. I’m pleasantly surprised at how fast it can process a tank of water. We did test with some text strips and they tested how I would have expected.

Who wants tips?
My first is over two years old. Works flawlessly. I wanted to produce more, faster, so I bought a second one about six months before this review. Amazon didn't have them at the time and I went straight to the seller. Not sure about a couple of negative reviews I've seen here. My machines are great and I've contacted the seller who communicated with me promptly about the shipping and was both friendly and correct. This brand was recommended by an engineer who uses three in his home and had all three for years.*Tip - buy extra filters from the seller. One can last longer than suggested but keep a supply because it makes sense, especially these days. The newer lid has screws where the first one had none. It makes the newer lid a bit nicer. Otherwise the machines are dittos of each other in every way and both produce appox. 3/4 of a gallon in just over 3 hours.*Tip - It's recommended not to fill the machines to the maximum fill line. I observe that (staying a 1/2 inch below) accept for when I'm cleaning. For cleaning, the machine is on only long enough to boil and filling it to the line cleans the top better.*Tip - Use a soft microfiber towel to finish interior cleaning without scratches. The microfiber may not matter but both of mine still look brand new inside after cleaning.*Tip - I bought elbow stove pipes here on Amazon to channel the hot air out the window and both units sit under the same smallish window at the same time. To protect the units from possible damage from the metal, I cut oxygen tubing, then slit the tubing lengthwise, and glued it on using regular Elmer's around the bottom of each elbow. This is totally worth doing, especially for summer use. Get the hot air out. This elbow pipe fits perfectly:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004T3AV3A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1*Tip - Instead of distiller cleaner, use citric acid by itself. Less expensive. You can buy it in bulk and save even more. It's the part of the cleaner that does the work anyway and safely pours down the drain. I clean them every 6-7 uses and add between 1 and 2 Tbsp of citric acid before boiling. So easy.*Tip - If you start with filtered sink water, the machine will last at least an extra use before needing to be cleaned. I added a filter to my sink after a few months and saw the difference.Amazon carries the affordable Water Drop AS13 Under Sink filter that is no-drill, has metal case and long woven water lines with inexpensive, easy to replace filters. Do check it out. There's barely any engine sound, mostly fan sound but there's a fair amount of air moving and you do hear that.*Tip - I got a supply of one and two quart mason jars with sturdy pour lids. As long as you're distilling, glass is better for holding water without fluorocarbons, etc. These machines are beautiful, practical, reliable, and easy to clean. If you can't tell, I love the water distilling part of my life.

SUCK isn't strong enough of a word
Terrible product, terrible company. My product worked for exactly 32 days and then just stopped. I hit the start button and sometimes the unit will run for a few minutes but usually I get 3 beeps indicating successful completing and no water or just a fraction of the tank was distilled.I've made numerous attempts to contact the company for support. I used their support page online, I posted to them on Facebook and I sent customer support emails. H2o Labs hasn't bothered to respond to any of the inquiries and thus appears to not give a care in the world that their products suck!Amazon should allow 0 stars on reviews.

Wonderful
Buying a first water distiller can be a little daunting but my eye just kept being drawn to this one for it's beautiful design. It has less capacity than the majority but suits a single person perfectly and although still fairly large is more compact than most. Very simple to operate, a pleasure to look at and such a pleasure to drink water again.

Horrible customer service and seller
I bought the machine which is good and easy to assembled but the seller is a nightmare. He plays the game with you trying to avoid answering your request or emails properly. He kept saying their tech support will contact me , this is a month or more and I m still waiting. Even I complained to amazon and not proper response. Don't buy the machine from this seller.

Electrical Fault - Twice!
This unit was great when it worked. Unfortunately it didn't work for long. Within two months and light use only, the unit started making a strange noise and the on-off switch became erratic. The seller kindly replaced the unit. Second unit, same problem but now even worse. Within a month, this machine was tripping the electric circuit with a screeching fan and an on-off switch that couldn't decide what it wanted to do. With all due credit, the seller refunded without quibble, so no complaints there. Just a shame that there is a design fault somewhere in this otherwise nice piece of kit.
