Works well for notebook/planner
I use this primarily for my planner - I like to schedule my time everyday and make reminders for myself for future dates, but meetings change or get cancelled all the time so using a regular pen was frustrating because I couldn’t erase it. I don’t like to use pencil because it rubs off on my hand when writing a lot or will smudge between the pages since I’m opening and closing my planner a lot and have a section for notes. With these pens I don’t have those issues. Writes smoothly, erases nicely. The ink doesn’t last very long with daily use (around 2 months for me) but I suppose that’s why it comes with refills.I haven’t had the issue of it fading in sunlight or heat since my planner is generally closed when not in use.

These pens are really great!
I am so happy that I found an erasable ink pen that actually works! I like these pens so much I think I am going to order another set. These pens come from a warehouse in North Las Vegas. The instructions for this pen are entirely in Japanese, but fortunately I am smart enough to figure the pen out, to get the ball point out you must touch the clip and move the clip downward in order to get the ball point out, then you write. The plastic nub on the end of the pen is the eraser. You have to apply some preassure to get the the ink to erase but once it erases you will be amazed. I saw a documentary about this pen and it became available to the public in 2006, I did not find this pen in Office Depot or Office Max. I have read some of the complaints about this pen from other reviewers, one person complained that the ink is not black enough. I agree the ink is a greyish black. I wrote with it for quite a while, I wrote in both manuscript and cursive and this pen does well in both and this pen does not skip. Just to let you know, I have tried Sharpie liquid pencil and I have tried Papermate erasable pens and this Frixion pen is better than all the erasable pens I have tried. I don't think you will be disappointed give this pen a try.

I Love These!
I write a lot. And I mean a LOT! So I was hesitant about purchasing these for not being sure about whether these are authentic Pilot FriXion and would be good pens, but when the product works this good you are just glad you got them! These have become something I cannot be without. They erase perfectly and without smudging and ruining the paper, and the eraser is practically never-ending. Perfect for planners, calculations, daily school work, note taking... well, everything that a pen and a pencil would be good for, but better, because it can be erased completely, and when you do erase it leaves no marks and there’s no eraser crumbs, and no new erasers needed. And, I have yet to experience any ink leaks. They last as long or longer than any other regular pen, specially the Pilot Precise V5, and instead of throwing the pen out you just have to purchase the refills.

My go to planner pen
These have always been some of my go to planner pens due to the fact they are erasable. They write smoothly, erase nicely but do leave a residue after erasing in the same spot multiple times, and I like the clicker over the pen cap. One complaint I have about the pen as a whole is that it isn’t a black ink - it is more of a dark grey in color so it is a little light for my taste but not a deal breaker

perfect for day planners
Recently switched to using an old fashioned day-planner instead of my iPhone, for scheduling my clients and my Do List. Plans change, so I didn't want to use a pen on my planner. My mechanical pencil was working fine for the task, but I thought I'd give these a try since one of the reviewers of my favorite mechanical pencil mentioned this was the best erasable pen he'd ever used. I can see why. It creates a smooth, crisper-than-pencil text line that's very fine (almost needle). It's not as dark as regular ink, yet dark enough to be easy to read. It erases cleanly. Only once so far did it not erase cleanly, leaving a smudge I couldn't get rid of even with repeated tries. Not sure what that was about, but it never happened again. To get the retracted pen tip to emerge, push the clip down, not the eraser tip. That's weird, but it works.

Fine-tipped FriXion clickable = erasable pen joy
I've used and appreciated amazing FriXion erasable pens on and off for several years. The biggest "off" factor for me was that the .5mm fine tipped pens were NOT available in the clicker format--only in the "pull off (and fumble with or lose) the cap" format.Apparently, Pilot does make these pens--just not for the American market. The Amazon price here for three pens and three refills is the same as the in-store price for six .7mm clicker FriXion pens, so I tried these.I used the pen to take sermon notes today, and it performed flawlessly. I appreciate the finer tip. It lets me write smaller to cram notes in where I might need to. I also never experienced the excess "drop on the tip" build-up I've sometimes encountered with the .7mm version, which I found had to be wiped off occasionally to prevent an unwanted smear or small ink blob.**edit--The .5mm cartridges are the exact same size as the .7mm ones. They're perfectly interchangeable in the American branded .7mm pens I already owned.

This is the one you want.
I love my RocketBook. I enjoy the thought of being eco-conscious while still taking pen and paper notes in class or at work. However, my handwriting is not the clearest on the best of days. With the .7mm FriXion pen that comes with RocketBooks, my handwriting was sloppier than acceptable, hard to read on the uploads, and I often had to write "bigger" for my notes to do any good later on.I tried the .38mm pens available on Amazon, and while I found the precision perfect, the ink failed to run frequently and was not dark enough to be seen well in the RocketBook scans. This is the Goldilocks pen. Dark enough to be seen well on the scans and fine enough to be read at a later date.

Pens Are Great...Picture Is Deceptive
The pens are great! I used them for my Rocketbook and they work flawlessly. My only complaint it the picture used to sell the product implies that you will get four sets. You will not...it comes with one set.

Ideal for Crosswords
Package arrived in advance of promised schedule. Price compares favourably with retail store. I have been using these pens for years with crossword puzzles: much better legibility than pencils and erases cleanly which is impossible with regular pens.
