Best strawberries ever!
I couldn't believe it, but after only three days of planting, my bare root strawberry plants started growing, in autumn 2018. Last year, 2019, alas, we didn't have a single strawberry from our beautiful lush plants, but this spring 2020, the plants were soon covered in the largest number of flowers, and we are now, in early June, harvesting between 700g and 900g most days from our initial '20' plants (which made many runner plants last year!). I can see there is a steady stream of new flowers still appearing, but perhaps not as much as the initial lot. We do feed ours with strawberry fertiliser. The strawberries are big, full-flavoured and sweet, have a bit of a bulge at the base, so you don't lose any of the fruit when you cut off the stem, and the stem itself seems to snap off easily from the plant, when ready to pick. We now realise how few strawberries there are on our 'old patch' of strawberries. I can highly recommend this variety, and the bare root plants were very healthy. Excellent product, thank you!

First impressions of plants Good
I have never grown Bare Rooted Strawberries before so I was a little apprehensive of purchasing them. I ordered 20 and recurved them around the date specified. Upon receipt they looked dead but after soaking them for about an hour I potted them up and after 2days they look a lot fresher. Obviously I don’t know what success I will have with the plants as they grow but my initial concerns about the actual roots were unfounded. The plants were a reasonable size with long roots. For the price I think the plants were good value. Time will tell.

Very pleased, looked dead upon arrival but fantastic now :)
Parcel was badly delayed due to the increased mail at the beginning of the lockdown and when the strawberry plants arrived I was worried because they appeared to have started growing in their packet (polythene bag) and then looked like they had shriveled up again. However I let them soak in warm water for an hour and then planted them out Inthe garden, and with lots of watering over the last several days they are all now showing good signs of life. Very pleased that all 20 plants appear to now be doing well.

A success!
The plants were great and they even survived the winter. I wish I could have seen more strawberries ripen and could tell you how they tasted, the few I tried were great, but my children got to them first usually. For sure was a success and great experience to grow them at home for my little ones.

Not all took
I purchased this as I wanted to add to my collection of home 🏡producing. Sadly not all plants survived. I feed them with strawberry feeder, and only some took so very disappointed, but hopefully I will get some strawberries in our next season. They came nicely packed but sadly when buying a quantity you expect that quantity to grow kind of like not getting what you paid for :(

Can not comment on flavour etc as not grown yet, but arrived promptly, well packaged and seem all have taken. So good so far

Strong plants
This is the second time I buy from them.Last time they died (my fault), this time around I’ve high hopes! The plants come inside an envelope which was shocking the first time but they’re strong, so no need to send them on a special container.Update: I bought them in March and now, 3 months later, I’m harvesting my beautiful and delicious strawberries.

20 out of 20 have grown really quickly and nicely
this was my first time trying some gardening so wasn't sure exactly how to do it but after reading some online advise i have soaked the roots in warm (warm not hot) water for over an hour and planted in compost. So far 14 out of 20 have grown really quickly and nicely. I am sure that if i was more experienced i would have gotten 20 out of 20. they looked very healthy when arrived. Would definitely buy more!Update : it is now 20 out of 20 - the remaining plants were just late to wake up but now all 20 growing that speaks for itself!
