Great stuff. A different perspective than the usual zombie gore fest, and great for it. This time we're following pros, and it's a full action thriller as you'd expect but much more about the characters. None of the "as if" saving graces that feature heavily in this subject. I'd say the omnibus is really one longer book, I'd have felt a bit short changed to have got to the end of book one and have to buy the next because the story was developing nicely. No such worry about that reading omnibus copies, though I am hooked and do want to know the end. I will be buying the rest, but to come back to rather Han to binge. Good work!

Fantanstic Read !!
The omnibus edition and this series does not disappoint, fast paced and well written; I devoured the 3 booksI liked that there was no waiting around as the stories from Fortress Britain Mogadishu of the Dead and Three Parts Dead merge so seamlessly together. The story takes the reader on a trans Atlantic non stop whirl wind that has you reading well past bedtime!Love the range of characters that we encounter and the knowledge of military tactics/slang and operation gives it as realistic a feel as a Zombie book can get!next in series already picked up hope the action follows right through because if it does this will be some story!!

Drop Zone Blues
The Arisen Omnibus One gathers together the first three books in the popular Arisen Zombie Apocalypse series – Fortress Britain, Mogadishu of the Dead and Three Parts Dead. Combined together they detail the adventures of Alpha team on an impossible mission to discover a cure for the zombie virus which has wiped out most of civilisation.Fortress Britain - I must admit at first I was a bit overwhelmed by the military tech jargon in the ebook Arisen – Fortress Britain. I started to wonder if it was a bit too much for me but then gradually I found the humanity that is also apparent in the story. Soon I was hooked on the action and mayhem and became sympathetic to the characters. The time spent filling out the back story elements gives this zombie Armageddon novel a depth which most end of the world tales lack. I am a fan of Glynn James’s Diary of the Displaced books but Arisen is something with a military heart which the co-author Michael Stephen Fuchs obviously provides. The novel confidently lays the foundations for what is to come.Mogadishu of the Dead - Book two in the Arisen zombie series follows on directly from events in book one and drops the reader straight into the action. This time round the main focus is on Alpha team who drop into the undead city of Chicago looking for a cure to the zombie virus. With a lot of the back story covered in book one, book two is a straight forward rollercoaster of action and adventure. Once again the military tech jargon can be overwhelming but persevere and the characters really do start to shine through the carnage and mayhem.Three Parts Dead - After the Chicago mission a weary Alpha team try to make their way back to the main task force, while across the sea the virus spreads into Britain. These books really are a vibrant blast of action and adventure. Interesting new characters are introduced in this book making the story grow and develop. This omnibus edition of the first three books in the series is a great way to introduce readers to the saga and one collection I would highly recommend. To summarise these novels are smooth and slick pieces of fiction that tower over the sea of undead ebooks. Enjoy.

Stunningly well written zombie books. I would certainly recommend this series to anyone interested in zombie apocalypse stories
What an amazing book! I was a bit unsure when I began to read this trilogy as I do know one of the authors and was worried I may not like the story. Oh how wrong I was to worry! What a great fast paced story with strong clear characters who are well defined and interesting but are realistic and not whiny! They crack on with the job at hand and you feel as though you are part of the camaraderie they share. The idea of a zombie apocalypse isn't a new one but this has been written with great style, has a great pace to it and has a new twist on the idea of a zombie being a mindless brain eater, well it is but there is more and I'm not going to spoil it for you! If you like army style books, Zombie books, The Walking Dead tv series I am certain you will enjoy these books. All that's left for me to do now is get the rest of the series and find out what happens next!

Action packed and an easy read.
Pretty gripping and easy to read so well worth four stars. I bought the first three books as a Kindle box set but in reality the three just about equate to the length of one normal novel. I know the series goes on for ever (which I dislike) so I won’t be buying any more but the first three are a complete story in themselves and can be enjoyed in isolation.

A pretty good read
It's the zombie apocalypse. There's dudes from the British army......and they only have, like, only two brews in the entire trilogy?Come on guys...DO YOUR HOMEWORK.Jokes aside, a good trilogy to take on holiday and read on the beach or something.
