Not for GoPro or Modded GoPro
1st off you need a modded GoPro (as I already knew) so if you think this would fit a stock (un-modified) GoPro think again. That being said, it does not fit on to the Ribcage Air for the GoPro Hero4 black. The holes in the bracket that came with the lens are too small, so I would need to drill them out to make it fit. So it saying it fits a GoPro is totally false, and if that's the reason you are buying it don't get it (unless you have a compatible bracket). It also does not come with a rubber gasket/washer to create a snug fit to prevent any dust from getting on your sensor.All in all if you already have a bracket for your modded GoPro and just need a lens then I'd say grab it. Yet if you are starting from scratch like me and are relying on the bracket that comes with it to fit, don't count on it.I included a picture of the bracket mount hole and the ribcage air mounting hole for size comparison.

Good quality
Nice quality lens, comes packaged in a strong card board box inserted in foam. The moment I took it out of the box good construction quality was evident. I liked the round IR cut filterf at the back of the lens instead of a square glued filter. I bought it for action cameras, yi lite and akaso ek7000, it doesnt fit straight out of the box so I had to make some modifications to the cameras first. A Right Hand Thread Tap M12 X 0.5mm is quite handy when the lens does not fit.After testing it I found out quality seems to match the original lens for the Yi Lite, sharpness in photos were great. I would have liked if it had specifications of the lens printed on it or some documentation reassuring lens specifications. It worked nice with a 16mp resolution sensor.

nice replacement for drones w/cams that cause fisheye
purchased to replace the stock camera for a drone. helps remove any hint of 'fish eye' in my vids.
