Mr. Tuffy Fat Tire Liners for 26-29 inch Wheels

I bought the lime colour version as it is the correct one for 2.6 wide mountain bike tyres.As an experiment I only put the Tufty liner in the front tyre and left the back tyre unprotected.After a year of cycling I’ve had 4 punctures in the unprotected rear tyre but zero punctures in the front with Mr Tufty liner. I’m now going to put a brand new tube in the rear tyre and protect with Mr Tufty also.It is a fairly simple process to fit them. I put a semi-inflated new tube into the tyre and make sure the tube is sitting on the rim all the way around. Then I feed the liner between the tyre and tube.It’s not very heavy so weight should not be a problem and I’ve got an electric bike anyway.The liner does look surprisingly thin but if you attempt to pierce it you will find it is extremely resistant. Great product and half the weight of a Tannus Tyre Armour protector.Update:- eventually had a puncture. It was a thorn that went straight through the liner and left a hole in it. Definitely not going to stop all punctures but if it reduces them significantly then it’s worth it.

No punctures on my Super73 Fat Bike and I’m 500miles in so far so all good

They are actually doing their job from a good couple of years, almost. As of I go off-road a lot. And we know. what that means, for mountain bikers, tubers

Seems sturdy and will do the job , however , nightmare to fit them properly , gave up this time but will try again when I have more time and will use some semi tacky adhesive to help hold them in place and still allow movement whilst tyres are pumping up

I new when I bought this it was going to be good stuff so far so good no flats at all :)
