Nice idea, but needs improvement
These reading classes with LEDs caught my eye and I had to try them. They looked like what would happen if the 1960's comedy "Get Smart" met the Borg from Star Trek. I thought, "Heck, they aren't expensive and maybe they will work."They have an LED diode on the left and right temple of the glasses. There are little toggle switches below a small battery compartment on each temple behind the LED. They give off a cool white light. I would say that they work, but the light is focused straight ahead in a way that makes me either tilt my head down or hold my book up at an awkward angle to have the light focused on the page. The covers for each battery compartment slide out easily. In order to replace the CR927 batteries (two on each side), you have to remove the little circuit board with the LED attached and pop out the old batteries with a small screwdriver. If you need extra batteries, they are available for purchase on Amazon.Oh. I had to figure this out myself, as the glasses do not come with instructions. In summary, the glasses would actually be useful if the angle of the LED lights could be adjusted, even just a a little. They could be really good if they could charge with USB-C and not require purchase of somewhat unique little batteries.

Works great in specific situations
I got these glasses to give them a try for in the car/map reading and in general when in a darker situation. There are many pros, they come with a nylon type glasses case, extra batteries, and a cleaning cloth, all for a decent price. I have a US map on the wall and it's great for reading/looking at the smaller print straight ahead, all great! The only con, in my opinion, is that the light is stationary in place so for reading a book at night you'd have to be looking way down for light to be on the book print. I find it helpful for those instances of looking straight ahead, or short periods of down, and plan to keep them in the car.
