Being from Maryland the use of Old Bay on a daily basis might be an unwritten rule.The platter is well made and study. It is a generous size. I plan on adding a few more pieces bit by bit. Like sneaking them in every now and then so my wife doesn't notice....ok, I'm not fooling anyone.Anyone of the pieces in this collection will make great gifts. I think they are at a max on their price point, but I can deal with that because of the quality of the product. I have a mug that is almost 3 years old I am confident with this statement.I am definitely expanding the collection to include lobster and crab platters. I highly recommend this product.

I am a huge fan of the Golden Rabbit splatter enamel ware! Childhood memories as well as the charm it adds to the decor of my modern farmhouse themed kitchen! Dishwasher safe. Beautiful presentation in the dining table. Roasted vegetables with this platter guarantees an emptied platter at dinner each and every time! The combination of colors and tasty vegetables are always a hit. A roasted chicken with veggies looks great also! I have used it as a Mediterranean platter, cheese platter and even deserts! Just a simply beautiful serving dish!

Was expecting more of a brick red - this is more vibrant red. Still a nice platter with silver trim. Check measurements to make sure it is big enough for your needs. We used it as a staging piece for our home rather than actually using it for food. It’s medium weight - not too heavy, not too flimsy.

I wanted to return this but it will cost me $12.00 to return. It’s very lightweight and the color on the center of the platter is scratched. Was meant to be a Mother’s Day gift but looks terrible.

This is exactly what I was looking for as it completes a display at our cabin in the mountains. The only downside is that it is a little pricey but very high quality. I am using it in a wall display in our kitchen and am adding a trout decal in the center so won't use it for food. I am have to buy another one for serving fish!

Very nice quality platter. Bought as a gift because the recipient complimented me on my platter that I have had for 20 years. I have hand washed mine for 30 years and it’s still as beautiful as when I bought it and so I know that this platter will bring her many years of pretty service.
