I sprayed mine with many coats of urethane sealer to make sure that it is waterproof
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Pretty, whimsicalI put mine at the top of a 7 foot pole with a squirrel guard to keep those rascals from stealing eggs.

Bottom detached during shipping
Update: the seller has offered to replace/refund, which is a nice gesture. I was also able to reattach the bottom with strong glue. Hoping it holds.Very cute but the bottom was broken off when it arrived. I will have to find strong waterproof craft glue to reattach it.

En un mes se le abrio el techo y se cayó del arbol, el espacio exterior para poner la comida es muy reducido y ni siguiera es suficiente para que se aposen los pájaros y la comida que se pone dentro no sale por los huecos y se pudre en su interior
