Very impressed, especially with the headset.
I have been curious about these types of wireless systems, but wasn't sure how good the quality would be in this price range and with this dongle type of reciever. First of all, I love the way this system was boxed. It was packaged very well with a type of foam insert and a cutout to fit each piece perfectly. In fact, I plan to either buy or build a case for this system and put this foam insert in it. Everything feels like good quality. The handheld mic does feel a bit light, which is nice because you don't want to carry anything too heavy around during a whole 2 - 4 hour show, but I also wouldn't mind just a little more weight to this one component. I first fully charged the reciever and body pack transmitter before hooking anything up. I like that the system came with the dual charging cable included. It was also nice that the 90 degree adapter and the 1/4" to 1/8" audio adapters were also included. I turned on the reciever and the handheld mic. They paired up very easily and changing channels was a breeze. I then turned on the body pack transmitter and it also paired right up, then I changed the channel and again, it was a breeze. I wasn't sure if changing channels was going to be tricky or not, but the reviever does a great job at automatically detecting the channel change from the transmitters and adjusting itself accordingly. I first tried the handheld mic just speaking into it and was instantly impressed with the sound quality as I adjusted the sound on my mixing console. Then I gave it the real test singing a few songs with power vocals. This thing took it and produced a very clean, dynamic sound without getting overpowered or distorted. It provides a very crisp, clean sound. Great highs and mids. It also provides great low end without sounding muddy. I then decided to try the body pack transmitter, first with the headset mic. I was really blown away at how great this headset sounds. Speech or singing with power vocals, it sounded just as great as the handheld mic. The only difference is that with the headset I had to boost the low EQ just a bit more, but I was very impressed. Again, very clean and crisp sound. The clip on mic also worked wonderfully, basically the same as the headset. The headset with this system sounds as good or better than some I used to use that used to cost over $500 (and weren't even wireless), then had to be ran through a dedicated 31 band EQ. This headset sounds incredible plugged straight into the board. The wireless signal was super clean and there was absolutely zero interference or crosstalk when using both transmitters simultaneously. Of course the only drawback is not being able to control volume and EQ of both mics separately with this reciever, but the handheld and headset are so closely matched that it's not much of an issue and, for me, I will rarely use both at the same time anyway. The only thing I would like to see with this system is a little better background noise separation/rejection in the handheld mic element, but it is still a very great quality microphone as is the headset and this entire system overall is just very impressive to me, especially at this price point. I play music and sing in bands, run sound as well as run my own mobile DJ/karaoke and videography/video production services, so I have used many mics and wireless systems over the years and I am happy to add this system to my audio aresenal. if you're on a tight budget, this is system is a great choice. If you're not on a tight budget, you should still give this one serious consideration. I may not choose this over top of the line systems, but I definitely would put it up against many more expensive systems I have had and used. I'd definitely buy it again.

The Phenyx Pro PDP-2-1H1B: The Swiss Army Knife of Wireless Mics
This wireless mic kit from Phenyx Pro is seriously versatile. It's got a handheld mic, a head worn mic, and a lavalier mic, so it can handle all kinds of situations. Rocking Solo Gigs If you're a solo musician or performer, the handheld mic is clutch. Whether you're a singing guitarist or a spoken word artist, you can work the stage freely at local venues or intimate shows. Keeping Fitness Classes Engaged For yoga and dance instructors, the head worn mic is a lifesaver. With your hands free, you can easily guide your classes through all the moves while making sure everyone can hear you loud and clear. Nailing Those Presentations The lavalier mic is perfect for speaking gigs. It's discreet and hands-free, so you can captivate your audience without any fuss. Easy Setup Getting this thing set up is a breeze. Just pick a channel on the handheld or bodypack transmitter, and it'll sync up automatically with the receiver. The receiver has handy lights to show you when it's connected and receiving audio. Two Mics, One Receiver Here's a cool trick – the handheld transmitter uses channels 1-15, while the bodypack has 16-30. That means you can actually use both mics at the same time, feeding into the same receiver channel. Mic Performance The handheld mic has a tight pickup pattern, so you'll want to stay close for the best sound. The head worn mic is about as sensitive as the handheld, so your voice will come through clearly. The lavalier mic is super sensitive and louder than the others, but you can adjust levels at the mixer. Long-Lasting Battery and Range The rechargeable bodypack and receiver can last up to 12 hours on a single charge, so you can power through multiple gigs without worrying about recharging. And with a rated range of up to 200 feet line-of-sight you've got plenty of room to roam. I tested 100ft without any dropouts. Classy Packaging The whole kit comes in a nice molded foam box, giving it a premium look and feel. Bottom line, the Phenyx Pro PDP-2-1H1B is an awesome all-in-one wireless mic solution. Whether you're a solo performer, instructor, presenter, or anything in between, this thing has you covered. Highly recommended! A+

Really good quality audio and has a large reception range (think school playing field). Only niggle is that the two radio mics are on a single audio chanel and not one left / other right. Good battery life and receiver can be charged while in use with any interfere or hum. Good dynamic range. Would buy again.

I'm a professional musician and sound engineer. And bought this as a back up. Used it in a public event and have to say I had no issues. A little EQ was needed as the hand held mike is a little dark sounding. But for the money its a good quality item that works! Range was good. I found placing the receiver into the mic clip of a mic stand and using a short xlr adapter into the mixer worked really well. I did try the angled 6.5mm adapter as my mixer inputs are at the rear and it did what I expected and didn't stay upright. This would be better to have had an angled 6.5mm to xlr adapter. Room for improvement but other wise I'm impressed with both performance and build quality for this price range. Will be keeping this in the kit bag for sure.
