Lots of great information & facts

We first owned 100 things to know about Food, which I my 5 year old loved, we would look up what ever we were eating in the index to see if there was a fact we could learn about it. The facts then turned out to be super useful in his reception class. Following our success with that I purchased this book. So far it hasn't proven to be as engaging. The facts are well laid out and illustrated. I think perhaps some of the facts are a bit advanced for the 5 year old, although they are written in a very simple way. I suspect this will be a grower.

Perfect book for children age of primary school and for adults to. We had one and bought another one as b present for friend.

Love this series. Bold illustrations, concise information. Would be more suited to children above 8 to fully appreciate the contents

Fabulous book. Perfect as the birthday book for my 7 year old son to take to school. Even had lots of praise from the headteacher about how wonderful the book is.

My son loves these. He enjoys reading non fiction as much as fiction, and loves these kinds of books just full of general information in a particular field. Highly recommend.

While in London years ago I went to the famous Foley's bookstore. There I found shelves of Usborne books--what a great discovery. And this book 100 Things to Know About Science is just another wonder. Oh they're for kids you say. Not so. They are written by some of the smartest folks and written so you can get a better understanding of things. Some of the best books to learn languages and so much more. Lucky Brits...and we should be so fortunate.

All the books in this series are great, both content wise and quality wise. Both adults and kids equally enjoy these.
