Eurgeen Portable Touch-screen 50 pints/Day Dehumidifier Dryer Whisper quiet for Home Office Basement

I live in a converted 2 car garage turned studio apartment. It always feels "wet" in here. You just step inside and its like walking through mist. I read 500 reviews on 30 different items and felt this one had the best open minded feedback. It arrived 3 days ago and it has brought the humidity in my room from 81% to 57%. I will say that I underestimated the amount of water that was really in here. I empty the container about every 6-7 hours. It's not difficult, it takes 30 seconds, so no big deal. But, it beeps, loudly, when it's full. (I haven't read to see if it can be turned off). So it wakes me when it beeps in the middle of the night. I decided to hook up the hose for continuous water flow out my window but it didn't work. The water seeped out the seal of the hose where it connects to the body of the machine. I'm going to try and mess with it more today and see if I can make it work so I can run the machine while I sleep also. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I rated 4 stars only because at this point I can't use the hose and I have to turn it off at night if I don't want to be woken up.Update: after letting the machine run for 4 straight days, it lowered the hungry so much that I only have to empty it once a day. It’s managing the humidity very well. I’m incredibly happy with this purchase and even happier I can run it through the night. Upped to 5 stars.

We bought this product based on the reviews when our old dehumidifier broke. The day we plugged it in, this thing was so loud. It was so loud, I could hear it on the second floor (product is in our basement.) On another note, the dehumidifier doesn't work good at all. We had thing on all day and it would never shut off b/c it never reached humidity level. Also, after a week of rain that we just had, the basement started to smell musty. This thing could not keep up and it is rated for the size basement we have. We went out to Home Depot and bought a new dehumidifier and within hours, the smell went away and it reached humidity level we set it for and it turned off. Also, the new one is quiet. I recommend NOT buying this product, you will be disappointed.

I have a bathroom That was remodeled out of a walk in closet that has poor air circulation, so I always have a hard time styling my hair after showers. This dehumidifier sucks that humidity out in about 5 to 10 minutes and my problem is solved! I just turn it on as I get in the shower. I have noticed much less if that mildew and red residue since I have started using it too-less cleaning makes me happy! The air coming out does start to be warm after about 15 minutes, but by then the job is done anyway and I turn it off. It is not small so it wouldn’t be good in a small bathroom.

I'm guessing this model won't be back again, but I feel like it should be known that after almost exactly two years of light use, this unit burnt its own compressor motor out (again, light use for a barely-damp basement that gets air movement from the furnace and AC as well). The hazardous piece being HOW it burnt out: I noticed the humidity level after a few wet days didn't seem to be moving down, but it wasn't until the carbon monoxide alarm in the house went off one night that I went down and saw/smelled that it was slowly burning its own components. Did an okay job for two years (hence the two stars) but that seems like a legit safety concern. Buyer beware.

This has turned out to be a really solid and effective de-humidifier. There were a number of reviews that said their devise failed within weeks/months of use, so I went ahead and purchased the 3 year E-Insurance thru Amazon for $9.62 just in case. Hasn't been a problem. On high humidity days the reservoir will be full in less than 8 hrs. That's a lot of water to get pulled out of the air in such a short amount of time and it makes all the difference in the comfort level of my 36 FT RV. I would totally buy another one of these to de-humidify any small space.

After reading the incredibly poorly instructions for use (looks like they were translated from a foreign language using a very bad translation software), I turned on the unit and it ran well. I turned it off after about 4 hours and the next day when I went to use it, I could get the purify feature to run but not the dehumidify feature. It's now a worthless piece of furniture in my store where I was using it. I would not recommend this unit for anyone and I reget this purchase.

Making weird noises after few uses. Not recommended.

It's easy to use, but I'm not happy with how small the water holding tank is, or how short the hose is and how very very loud it is. I would prefer to return it, but that doesn't seem to be an option.
