I'm not sure what to think about this unit. I have only had it about a week and at first I thought it was pretty good but after about 4 hours of run time it went dead. I had to plug it back in, after it was charged I unplugged it and it ran for only about 4 and a half hours and went dead again, it has worked like this ever since the first use. Another thing it does is in the morning is shows both the HCHO and the TVOC numbers in the low single numbers but as the day goes the numbers keep going up even with no cooking or anything burning at all. Eventually the numbers get so high that the unit starts beeping, if I open windows and freeze to death, the numbers immediately start dropping fast, as soon as I close the windows the numbers start climbing again until the unit starts beeping again. If I push the button twice and reset the unit then it shows the numbers low and it stays there for a long time and then it starts to climb again and eventually I have to reset it. There is nothing wrong with my furnace or water heater, had them checked, what particle board there is in my home (kitchen counter tops) has been in it for about 30 years so I would think that has off gasses by now, the carpet and furniture are about as old. All I have to do is turn one burner on my stove on for just a few minutes and the units numbers have went through the roof and is sounding off but my C/O detectors never go off. I have a merv 13 filter in my furnace and in my air purifier, I added carbon pads in my air purifier to remove more from my home air but it has done nothing to this units numbers or how it reads. So I don't know if this unit works right or not? I have tried to contact the seller through amazon but I have heard nothing back yet. If I find out more I will update this rating.

I like all the information this displays but the 2000mah battery is too small. It's good for a few hours then dies. As long as you move it from room to room and plug it in it's alright. It also takes a very long time to charge it back up. I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.

It's a great little tool, fast, lightweight and easy to read, so I can always check the air quality in my home and consider whether I need to open a window for ventilation

Nice monitor with all displays on the screen, beep when HCHO is too high, which is great and I love it so far.
