Mixed feelings
These rivets are cool and look nice. However the posts on these are HUGE which means they only work for really thick items. Additionally they’re difficult to set. I wish they came with a setting tool. I used a 12 mm regular rivet die to set in my press and over half of them I had to remove and reset because they ended up smushed.

great for any project
These were actually prettier in person. They fasten well and are easy to use

Pay Attention To Their Photo Before Buying- Beautiful Rivets
I have made many different outfits that use metal trims including jeans, jean jackets, etc. I got these rivets to go with other multicolored hardware that I got to put with interesting fabrics.HOW TO USEThese need to have a hole punched with an awl into the fabric that you plan to put them on. You put the curved part on the curved anvil used for buttons and rivets. The bottom is put in the top and you hammer them together.PERFORMANCEIt is kind of hit and miss for me- they are not always easy to use these. If you are careful, you can make them work. The bottom needs to be secure to the top after you are done hammering them in.SIZEThese are pretty big in terms of dome. They stick up twice as high as most other rivets I have used. That does not mean they won't work, you just need to keep that in mind when planning to use them on certain fabrics and clothing or items. They will stand out from the fabric surface pretty high.THE BOTTOM LINEThese look fantastic with certain other matching hardware that I plan to use on jackets, jeans, and other similar designed clothing or items. They are not always easy to get in right, but if you are careful they work.MY RATINGFOUR STARS I like these and use these but they can be tricky to get in right without being crooked or bent wrong. Still I recommend them and encourage you to plan ahead with extra rivets for practice and in case some don't go together right.PHOTOSPay special attention to their photo with this listing. The photo shows how high the comes stand up from the rivet. I hope to update with photos of finished clothing in the future where I have used these. For now, my experience is just practice on swatches.
