GENIUS idea
As someone who is a major fan of functional mushroom supplements, Lion's Mane has quickly positioned itself as a top-of-the-line ingredient to add to morning time beverages. As someone who struggles with focus, working memory, and general sharpness of mind, this matcha supplement has been a great asset to mornings. Beyond this, if you are someone who is seeking to cut down on the ample caffeine content of coffee and energy drinks, this is a wonderful way to segue into something a bit more mindful of moderation.Ashitaba was an ingredient I was unfamiliar with, but the plant (dubbed "tomorrow's leaf") is in the carrot family and aids in digestive issues and heartburn. There are people out there who might have adverse digestive responses to something like "Lion's Mane", so this feels beneficial to those specific types for whom these kinds of supplements work out well. Lastly, ginseng is a tried-and-true supplement to wonderfully kickstart your morning. These ingredients will all be synergistic with match, which is antioxidant and caffeine-dense (although, less so than coffee, of course). It's genius to have these little matcha additions from a purely practical level, but also because of the flavor profile. The nature of mushroom supplements is that they are relatively earthy, which seems to jive quite well with matcha, which is more of the same. The taste might prove problematic for some types who are unfamiliar and/or squeamish with earthy tastes. However, granted some oat milk, some sweetener, and ice, this becomes far more palatable to those who may not like unconventional beverages yet.

Getting used to the taste
Here's what I've experienced.Pros:1. Energy and Focus Boost: This coffee booster really gives me a nice energy kick and helps me focus better during the day. It's like a natural energy source.2. Superfood Blend: I like that it has three superfoods - red reishi mushrooms, red maca, and red tongkat ali. They say these are good for me, and I trust that it's all-natural with no fillers or sweeteners.3. Packed with Good Stuff: It's got lots of vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, and antioxidants that are supposed to be good for my body.4. Quality Assurance: I appreciate that it's organic, vegan, non-GMO, and gluten-free. Plus, they test it in labs to make sure it's pure and high quality.Cons:1. Taste Adjustment: It does have a bit of a different taste when I add it to my coffee. It took me a few tries to get used to it.2. Price: It's a bit on the pricey side, but I guess it's because of all the good stuff in it.Recommendation:If you're looking to boost your energy, focus, and overall well-being, giving this a try might be a good idea. Just be prepared for a slightly different taste in your coffee. It's a bit more expensive, but the quality and benefits seem worth it to me.

Two Options to Consume
Truthfully when I first starting using this coffee supplement I was half reading the instructions. I was adding it to my brewed coffee like it was cream and sugar which I guess you could do, but it did leave remnants floating around in the java. Then I reread the instructions and smacked my head for not paying attention lol.One method, which I use, is to add the java boost to the freshly grind coffee beans before brewing, and then serve the coffee. Since I primarily do a french press brew, this was super easy as I just chucked the powder into the glass container. In terms of taste, I can't really tell there was something different added to the coffee which I actually liked because I perfected how I like my home brew. I mustn't disturb the perfect harmony achieved and unlocked lol. Because there was no taste altering my coffee, I love this coffee supplement and all the benefits it provides. It also didn't cause me any stomach issues or other body reactions.

Works well but does alter flavor a bit
This energy booster works pretty good but it does alter the flavor of your coffee or tea a bit. I would recommend sticking to coffee with it as it will change the flavor less. It can overpower a lot of the more delicate tea flavors. It is on the bitter side but since I take my coffee with cream and sugar it's easily balanced out, if you drink your coffee black you will notice a taste difference for sure.

A little goes a long way, great way to start your day and easy to add to your morning routine
So easy to stir in a small amount into the morning cup of coffee, brings on a nice sustained boost in energy, and seems to remove the crash that can follow a couple of hours after the caffeine wears off. Hard to comment on the immune system aspect at the moment, but I honestly find that this helps with my general well-being. I didn't notice a change in the taste of my coffee, but then I make my coffee pretty strong. I did find that it can take a lot of stirring, otherwise, you can end up with small lumps that can taste a little bitter - But this really isn't any different to other coffee additives I have used.

Taste a little bitter, simple ingredients
It tastes a little bitter but not too bad. The downside for me is that if mixed with coffee or tea, you'll need to strain. Otherwise it can be added to a coffee press or espresso.

Matcha and more
This blend says its for matcha, but it turns out I'm not a huge fan, so I use it in my coffee and it works out very well. I don't detect the taste and that's just fine with me. I appreciate the health boost in a form that's a pleasure. A+
