Field points are a wear item, even if you're just shooting foam targets with a recurve with even a moderate draw weight. I was getting poor penetration on my bullet shaped points which had slowly lost their pointiness over time, so I was due for an upgrade.These field points are precisely machined to closely match the diameter of my standard sized 500 spine GT carbon arrows, they screwed into the inserts cleanly, and the tips are very very sharp and penetrate the target easily. There is some kind of finish coating which will prevent the steel field points from getting stuck into the aluminum arrow inserts due to galvanic corrosion. The finish also helps with pulling the arrows out of the target. I don't have a precise enough scale, but I could tell they were close enough to my current 100 grain field points and lighter than the 125 grain by shooting them side by side.

Only 1 was 100grains

Our annual fall hunting trip has been on hold for several weeks because the weather hasn't gotten cold enough. (Today our temp is 60 degrees, far too hot to wear insulated clothing and lugging a 70lb backpack around in the deep woods). As a result, I continue to practice.On our hunt I will use a compound bow that can sling an arrow at a whopping 415 feet per second. Havent shot yet quality looks good

I don't have a scale to weigh them, but I changed out a few range arrow tips (100 grain) with these and they flew the exact same. So my guess is they weigh correctly, because they definitely fly correctly!

Comes in a nice little storage case. Threaded right onto my crossbow bolt. No issues with firing or retention. It pierced my entire bow target, but I think that is a testament to its sharpness and quality. No issues with retrieval from the target either. These have met all my needs.

The weight is clearly advertised, but I think I anticipated them being a bit heavier once installed on the arrow. These are decent field points and easily compare to similar items found in your local sporting goods big box store.

These are exactly what I needed. My field points get damaged, ruined, lost, etc. I had a number of arrows needing new ones so I got this pack. They look good, and were lightly coated in oil. Fit finish just fine. I have already put some on arrows I had that needed tips and they fit great. I have no problem recommending these for any general use.
