Consider your pets when using this
Maybe it's just this scent, but this was very strong when I put in all the reeds (5) I ended up removing all of them except 1 and it smells fine. Remember that our pets' sense of smell is a LOT more sensitive and if you can barely smell it, it is probably causing them stress. For people considering this item, I suggest starting with 1 reed, and then put in more if you can't smell it in a day. Make it so just once in a while, you go "Hey, I smell Lavender!"

Have One In Each Bathroom
First off, before I give you some pro tips, the smells for these is incredible! So first off, you are going to want to use a small knife to puncture the plastic, silicon skin that keeps the scent liquid inside the jar. This will make it a bit easier to fit the reeds inside. Also, it is totally pet-safe. We have them around our three cats without an issue! We live in a very dry state, and these have stayed pumping a beautiful, perfume scent for almost six weeks now. Will buy again soon - it’s almost time!
