Sea of Thieves (Xbox One)

I bought this game years ago. Had so many fun adventures and watched the game develop massively. Me and all my friend are pirate legends. We fought through thick and thin and fought many battles with amazing adventures along the way. Even now we still find new things to explore and do.

There is a lot to do in this game. It is a world of islands, ships, puzzles, pirates and plunder. New content is added all the time, keeping it vibrant. You play as a pirate (usually first person view) and get your own boat. You have to sail around and can choose whether to dig up treasure (the best!), fight ghost ships and skeletons, or deliver cargo. The dangers on your way include giant sharks, skeleton crewed ships, phantoms, weird sea creatures and the worst - other pirates stealing your loot! There are also story based quests to follow, World events and more. You could also choose to spend time peacefully fishing, watch out for storms and other hazards. You can play solo, in a 2 man boat, 3 man boat or 4 man boat. You can play in the High Seas with up to 5 other ships or enjoy your own private server (1 boat for you and up to 3 friends) in safer seas. I like the safer seas, there is still plenty of peril but less hassle. Note that you get less money in safer seas, the reputation you can earn is capped and some player related features are not available. However, you are free to choose which mode you play in and can switch back and forth. Note that safer seas means you can play in single player mode without requiring game pass, which is a nice bonus. (Just skip past the pop ups. You do still need an Internet connection. ) The game saves your level and cosmetic choices and purchases, however the items in your pockets and quests on the table are usually lost. This makes it hard to take a break without losing your hard won stuff and progress. (Tall tales do save milestones). I'd like to see a way to take a short break without having to run back. For younger players and families, stick to safer seas, in the high seas chat can be shared across ships so be careful of your settings as you may not want to talk to everyone. This is a great game to play solo or in a group of up to 4, I'd like to be able to play with even more friends in future. Recommended for all suitable ages!

Off the get go I had been watching this game since it's announcement through the alpha stage (test demo) and in to full release so I've been unbelievably excited to get my hands on this game.Received my copy yesterday and I played the game for roughly 5 hours none stop on my own and with friends.This game in my opinion is a blast weather you play the game on your own or with friends. The only thing I will say is if your going to join a crew online you may either find it hard to find others speaking the same language as you or you may find yourself locked up in the bottom of the ship!! I have had these issues... so make sure you sail alone in solo for now!I do feel the experience with others is much better than on your own for many reasons though. Seeing yourself and friends control a ship on the open seas and take down other crews as a team honestly there is nothing more satisfying than blowing a hole through an enemies ship with a cannon and having all your mates see it happen.Another perk to this game is that it's visually stunning, I've been playing on the Xbox one X and it looks unreal, the game runs at 30fps (frames per second) on console and 60fps on PC.If your a pirate fan and have always wanted to sail the deadly seas with your friends then this is a must buy for you.

Brilliant game. Great to play solo in a stealth style or team up with friends for a great laugh.Maybe a little light on content atm but more than enough to be getting on with until the big content update. Rare have promised to support the game and add content for several years. As it stands it is enjoyable, beautiful to look at and most importantly a great deal of fun.

Good delivery I received it on the day it was released the gameplay is excellent I’ve had it a few days now and I’m enjoying it yes it is confusing to start with that’s why I suggest you play with someone online as most players would be more happy to share their knowledge how to play and once you’ve learnt the basics you can set sail on your own in a small vessel And yes it is an online game which makes it more fun if you have A head set I would use it as it is much helpful For other players to ask you to do silly chores such as raise the sales And some of the treasures are hard to find that’s why are you need other players to help you out

This game is absolutely breathtaking. The game visuals like the water are the best I've ever seen in a video game.This game is so much fun when you get your pirate crew together to set sail on voyages to earn gold and reach that pirate legend status.Although this game isn't for everyone, I'd recommend you give it ago. I've definitely had the most fun playing this game then any other game in a while.Well done Rare.

Most are saying its no fun playing on your own. Trust me...it is fun on your own. I played for 3 hours sailing the seas alone, cashed in 3 treasure chests, 2 glowing skull and still manged to sink 2 four-man crew ships..lol.So much fun on your own or with friends.If you find yourself getting bullied, just leave that game and start new one. The GTA players will soon get bored and stop playing soon.Great fun.

My son has been playing this game for hours since he opened it.

Un impact très visible sur la face avant de la boite qui était pourtant encore sous blister. Ce n'est pas la fin du monde mais comme j'aime prendre soin de mes jeux et tout particulièrement de ce jeu que j'affectionne, j'ai été un peu surpris. Cela dit, le CD est neuf et fonctionne parfaitement

Bel gioco finalmente con un'ambientazione diverso dai classici giochi per console. L'ho regalato a mio marito e si diverte molto, si è fatto anche una piccola compagnia virtuale di amici grazie a questo gioco. La dicitura "versione uk" non comporta nulla, il gioco funziona benissimo.
