How'd they do that ???
Ok self professed Fender purist here, lol. Ye-o0OO where did this Co. come from right. Listen moms dads ( anybody who jams ) your kid needs a guitar JUMP on this and hit e-bay for a used 10 watt Fender Frontman. Ok I bought 3, 1 had issues which were quite easy fixes, but I needed to see what the hype was about and wanted to pull one out of the box plug and play lol. So sent it back, reorder. The next one was just that plug and play, I couldn't believe it, a guitar this inexpensive was so fun to jam with. I was so impressed I wanted to see if they could do it again and BAM next one just as smooth as the previous. I then bought the other models that were on Amazon 4 or 5 just to see if the LP was their "fluke". BUT NO all instruments were extremely nice. Ya know I ordered the Tele's, the Songbird or Trapeze model and the prs model. BUT back to the LP because this is it's page. Now lets get all the nit picking bull* out the way. I've been building amps, pedals, guitars, since the early 80's and I am gonna tell ya there is nothing you have to do with this gitter once received. I here people talking about tuners pups and this that wha wha wha. BULL#@#@, the two I have stay in tune for years (ya know what I mean). And I play them everyday, the pups are great no need to mess with them 14k B - 8k N or so thats what I get when I checked. And they sound good no microphonics or major tech prob. The NECK, oh lord what a pleasure to play, I believe 14'' radius or so slim D profile and fret board is nice wood frets are all installed correctly though I did have to smack one down and ofcourse ya know they need a polishhh lol. Oiled after with my old stand by tried and true Old English wood furniture treatment ( basically lemon oil but cheap for a big bottle ). And kids don't soak your neck with a gallon of oil a small bit goes a long way plus not often but on occasion it could lead to a loose fret. Finish with a fresh set of Ernie Ball Slinky's and BAM you're all set for a few. Ok now ya got the snobs asking about pots, electronics, structure, bla bla bla. Yes they're dime size pots and an enclosed 3 way toggle. No push back wire. But all performs as should I jammed with a band for many years and I'll tell ya I would use this LP in a heartbeat. And after tearing 1 apart it does seem pretty solid, I did post some pics. Ya know the first guitar I bought with my money many years ago was a Blond 76 Strat AM "used", that I bought from the studio I took lessons at and it cost me $365.00. Even that guitar needed some help very little though, but it was five years old. And my teacher was an old Italian guy who could play any instrument read all types of music a true trained professional musician and luthier was the man that pointed out these problems and proceeded to teach me how to remedy said problems which led me down the road to the trade of Luthier. Enough back to this guitar !!! Lets talk about the finish, LMFAO, if you're gonna judge a piece because of few blems PA-LEASE lol. What would compel ya to cry about stain bleeding and and cosmetic parts that don't have any bearing on the playability of said piece. For $200 bucks c-mon it's not a 59 Gib we all get that. I've taken one of mine apart and sure it's a bit rough, but damn I wasn't surprised or shocked by what was there. Sure it may not be on par with a LP copy from somewhere like Texas Toast, but ya only paid $150.00 for it !!! Correct ??? Bottom line at a time when beef is costing 10 to 15 bucks a pound it's nice to find something that will keep your mind off your troubles for awhile and you didn't mortgage the house to do it. Yea I'd tell my friends to buy one of these. WHY !!! Because it's fun,,, ok....✌

Axe-ellent guitar for the price
I've been playing guitars since the 1970s. While I wouldn't call myself a guitar "master", I'm at least a very competent intermediate-level player. In my opinion, this is a super guitar for its price. I've spent way more on used guitars that don't play any better than this new IYV. This guitar isn't just playable; it WANTS to be played. It was good to go right out of the box it came in, with no setup or adjustments required, except for putting a set of good string on it. The strings it came with aren't so good.Serious players might want to replace the machine heads (tuners) with some high-quality Grover's or something to ensure the guitar won't need re-tuning during a long session, and perfectionists might want to swap out the pickups for the brand of their preference. But the hardware this guitar comes with is more than adequate. The one I received looks and feels good. It has no blemishes in the paint job or the finishes and details. The frets are all level and proper, no sharp edges or protrusions sticking out the sides of the neck. The fret marking inlays are nice and smooth. A perfectionist might want to have the frets polished a bit more, but the factory did a pretty good job with them. And the guitar's construction seems fairly robust.Green wouldn't have been my ideal choice for color, but it's growing on me. How a guitar plays is far more important than how it looks, anyway. But this guitar does look pretty, as far as that goes. Mine came with no paint blemishes or scratches. Of course, you could always paint it black and put a skull decal on it if you want it to look mean, but that won't make you or it play any better.Overall, this is a great guitar both for a student that doesn't want to invest too much in to start playing, or for accomplished players on a budget. Or if you just want an extra guitar in your studio in case someone shows up without theirs. If you want a $1500 guitar then you'll have to spend $1500. But at less than $200 brand new, this IYV is worth every penny and more.

IUY ILS - 300 Les Paul Sleeper
OK this will be about the guitar only, NOT the (poor boxing, or tore up boxes and missing parts)So let talk about the guitar. The one I got had a few flaws in the finish but keep this one. I know people say that the body is hollow inside. Mine was either blocked or total solid body. The set up was pretty good from the company, tuners seem to work fine. What I did change was the pickup pups to Invader style, from Amazon and put a set of DR Strings Hi-DEF Neon Green (NGE-10) and added a new Cheap Trick style leather strap. That's it and this baby Rock. I'm more of a Pro Bass player but in the studio it's nice to have guitars you don't have to worry about getting dented up from people needing one to play. I had my guitar player playing Some 80's metal music and this thing sounded way better then his 1800.00 dollar ax. We just had to set up the gapping on the pickups a bit and that was it. I'm still going to go thru a pro set up when I have time but it's a great stage guitar or for recording. The only thing is it's kind of hit or mess with the shipping boxes being so thing they do tend to get damaged all the time, and sometime there are some dust in the finish. People do get perfect ones I know, just not me. But for the price I don't care, it's still a looker 12 inches away. Great little guitar that can give the goods done up right. The stock pickups were so so, not super bad but not pro sounding in my book. My Mesa Boogie tube and did not care for them mush. Took them out before I tried them my my Fractal Axe-FX 2 XL modeling preamp. Give it a shot you might just like them, not for everyone, oh also it fells like a C shaped neck, I like Fender style guitars for that C shape neck. The neck is fast.

Impressive Value
If you have been looking at this guitar and wondering how good could it be for so little money, stop wondering. Grab one of these while they're available, they are incredible value for the money! The finish on mine is beautiful aside from a couple of TINY flaws that you really have to look for. It came with a decently low action and the intonation is bang on, no fret buzz anywhere on the entire neck. The flame maple top is real veneer and not a photo print but I haven't taken off the pickup rings yet to check how thick it is. The fingerboard looks like rosewood but I'm not 100% sure, it is very nice and smooth and not dry looking and the inlays are nice and flush. The frets are nicely crowned and polished and seem to be level with no sharp or protruding ends. I'm not a guitar tone expert but the pickups sound decent to my ears and the selector switch and pots all function as they should with no crackling or dead spots. This guitar is a bit heavy but it sustains like mad! The tuners are smooth and precise enough for now although I will probably upgrade them at some point. It even came with a nice D'Addario XL 09s installed. The only criticisms I have are the plastic nut that binds a little bit but I'll rub in some graphite and see how it is and the cheap plastic pic guard and back covers. Please have a look at these pics and don't hesitate to ask questions, I'll answer to the best of my limited knowledge.

What a gorgeous guitar! Worth well above the price charged!
Well I am simply stunned! I did not expect this kind of quality craftsmanship at this price level. This instrument is just beautiful with only one minor smudge under the finish at the bottom where a Bigsby tailpiece would go if this guitar had one. Otherwise it is absolutely pristine! The flame maple top is very well book-matched to the point where you have to lean in to see the centre line. I've seen $2500 Gibsons not that well done. The finish is deep and glossy. The stain is carried up the neck and headstock with a black veneer on the top of the headstock. All inlays are flush and the headstock inlays are particularly beautiful. The cream binding and hardware are a perfect complement to the body colour. I played it for a couple of hours through my Marshall Code 100H this afternoon. The pickups provide exactly what you would expect with no buzz or feedback. The controls feel smoth and precise - not loose and do not crackle on adjustment. The guitar came strung with D'Addario's so I just left them on as the break-in set. The neck feels great and the fretboard is either some kind of engineered rosewood or ebony- it's too fine-grained and does not show much variation from black to be natural rosewood. I've looked very closely and unlike some reviews I cannot detect either a scarf or heel joint - the neck appears to be a single piece and is set, not bolted. It is also dead straight. I'm a strummer and finger picker and found the action and string spacing perfect. No adjustment to either action or intonation needed out of the box. Speaking of the box, this came shipped in a monster sized box (see picture) with a styrofoam black box wedged into a much larger box. Because of this, the guitar was able to move and the guitar had actually slipped out of the inner shipping box at the bottom. However it was well covered with a polystyrene bag and suffered no damage. The guitar is heavy - heavier than my 1982 Ibanez ST-80, which is a solid chunk of Mahogany. My shoulder felt it after an hour or so, so a wider strap for standing stage players will be a good idea. I'm very pleased with this instrument and it is a fantastic value for the beginner, and a great alternative for those who, like me, have wanted to own a real Les Paul but could never justify the $2500 price tag. Slash will never have anything to fear from me so this will do just fine.

Good quality LP Copy in emerald green
Excellent guitar for the money. If you're looking for a les Paul style guitar, this one the best value and quality price point out there. Better than many Epiphone Les Pauls I have tried out and about half the price with a set neck. Pickups are decent, if you're not picky I would keep them. The only thing I changed was the tuning machines to Grover locking tuners and its great. The paint job on it is pretty good, again for $200 bucks its pretty. If you got a good tube amp this thing growls and sounds cool, and has nice retro vibe to it!

Outstanding value! Amazing guitar.
Second IYV guitar that I have purchased. Although I love the first guitar it required much more set up out of the box. This guitar came almost perfectly set up with very minor flaws in the guitar. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone noting that as you can see from the other reviews there is potential for the guitar to need more setup than mine did. I believe it’s a little hit and miss but I have zero complaints. Great value for the money but also just a great guitar. Very usable right out of the box and definite potential to turn this thing into a pro level beast with some new pickups and maybe some other minor modifications (locking tuners, new bridge and nee nut). Can’t get over how awesome this guitar is. As a reference point I have 7 guitars in all price and quality ranges and consider myself a decent guitar tech although I’m self taught. I’ve modified several guitars and one of the aspects I live about buying some of these “cheaper” guitars is that I can do the setup myself and turn them into great playing guitars.

It is a solid body, has some weight to it, use a strap
I liked the paint job it came with, and the Les Paul styling. These were the staple reasons I bought this guitar. Bought the guitar before I read any reviews, some reviews were terrible, others were fantastic, and the negative reviews seemed to be attributed to ego, and not the guitar itself. Most complaints were of cosmetic in nature complaints. But for me when it arrived it was in mint condition, with no complaints from me, or broken parts. Just a very attractive guitar in a box, at a very reasonable price
