The kind of soap that makes you stand in the shower an extra 10 minutes, contemplating your own power. I bought this because i was tired of all these “mountain-glacier-tactical-midnight-storm” body washes that smell like a chemistry experiment conducted by divorced individuals. Sometimes a man just wants to smell aggressively clean without smelling like he personally owns a flamethrower and has the last name of “Rambo”. But this soap? Legendary. Coast has that old-fashioned, fresh-out-of-the-ocean scent that instantly makes you feel like your credit score improved, your posture corrected itself, and your father is (briefly) proud of you again. The lather is incredible too. Thick, rich, luxurious foam. The kind of lather that makes you imagine you’re the protagonist in an unnecessarily high-budget cologne commercial filmed on a yacht somewhere in the Mediterranean. And somehow the scent sticks around just enough. Not overpowering. Just enough to create the aura of a man who probably drinks enough water, changes his own oil, and has posted at least one dangerously confident mirror pic in his lifetime. Also, unlike a lot of modern soaps, this doesn’t leave my skin feeling like an abandoned baseball glove later on in the day. Clean rinse, fresh feeling, no weird residue, keeps my skin and beard moisturized. It’s environmentally safe and conscious, meaning if it’s good enough for the planet, it’s good enough for YOU. Each bar is four ounces big. Overall: Classic scent. Elite lather. Unreasonably powerful energy. 5 out of 5 stars. Smelled so clean i (almost) started making better life decisions.

I have loved Coast soap since the mid 70's, when it first came out, and I still love it! The bars are good size, the smell is still that always fresh scent, and there's always a good amount of lather. I also love the fact that it actually acts as a room freshener for my smaller bathroom! I don't thinks it's a good choice for anyone with sensitive skin, even though I find it to be moisterinzing and doesn't leave a soap residue.

Coast soap. Haven’t compared it to the color of the smaller bars you get at walmart, but it smells the same. I’m not a fan of their sustainable recycled packaging, I liked the old plastic wrapping. The boxes felt like they had some moisture in them, they weren’t as rigid as some paper packaging should be. I guess the sustainable paper packaging absorbs it from the bars themselves. Soap itself is fine. They are the 4 ounce bars that are more square in shape. The 3.2 ounce ones in the store are more oval and round. A good value if you get them on sale, which I did. Cheaper when on sale than getting the basic white dial bar soap in quantity. Coast soap is like dial white varieties - it’s a light scent that doesn’t linger too long after a shower. Cleans your skin and feels like dial white soap. No real added moisturizers in it, but it doesn’t dry out my skin like dial yellow or Irish spring does. I alternate between this and dial white or the spring fresh stuff. I prefer the scent of coast over most other soaps I have tried.

I like this soap. It lathers well and rinses off well. It does have a peppery smell, but it doesn't make ME smell peppery. It is also blue and it leaves a bit of blue on my soap dish, which I'm sure (pretty sure) will wash off. Just wanted to mention those two things -- but it wasn't enough for me to give it less than 5 stars.

Bought this primarily as a deodorant soap, and at that it excels. But in terms of lather, it's got nuttin'. Showering with this is a bit like washing your car: you do one section at a time. Wet/soap/wash/rinse. Repeat...and repeat. C'mon Coast: add a lathering agent...and you're soap is Golden!

This is a case of Coast brand bar soap. Good quality and price. Very aromatic, maybe a little too much so for some. Doesn't smell bad, but very disinfectant-like, not perfume-y.

It’s Coast bar soap. If you like it, you’ll like it. Refreshing, squeaky clean. Great for a shower, from the awful sweaty summers in Southern USA. Refreshing clean without the foo foo. I put my beloved special soaps down for this now and then for the super lather, and clean rinsing clean feel of Coast.

Just got my item today thanks so much, had to buy a whole months supply because it smells so good fresh like the ocean, soap is very moisturising and makes the whole bathroom smell so nice. And it's not sold anywhere where i live it's very rare over here. Long lasting scent on the body, don't know what the heck they put in this soap tho.

Had used Coast years ago but was off the shelf for a while. Glad it was found at amazon. Refreshing and great for sweaty me.
