Solutions Manual for Algebra 2 : An Incremental Development

I’ve been tutoring and teaching math for 15+ years, and Saxon is, hands down, the best math curriculum. I love that the assignments repeat previously learned skills, and I love that the books are straightforward and not busy with pictures or useless info.Saxon is not “sexy/fun” curriculum, so it gets a bad rap. This is unfortunate because students who come out of Saxon Algebra 1 are significantly more prepared than any of my other algebra 1 students.This solutions manual helpfully lays out all the answers while showing the work. Helpful for students who need to know they’re doing their work right.

It's fine and what I needed. But I do not like Saxon's heavy textbook method and black and white pages. I am not a mathematical thinker and this curriculum puts me to sleep. If my kids weren't in a homeschool support group class I would not use this curriculum otherwise.

Came in perfect condition.Since there are multiple editions of Saxon math books, it's important to order the correct solutions manual that matches your textbook. Check the edition information, but also check the ISBN number of the textbook and compare it against the listed ISBN of the solution's manual. If they only differ on the last few digits of the number, then it should be the correct solution's manual. If they differ significantly, it's not the right manual.

This is what I needed with it written out how to work/solve the problems. Always good to have an explanation & not only the answer. In good condition too.

Helpful but lacks clarification on some steps. The most common problem I saw was that during trig problems the author assumes the student has mastered his trig.

Rating is for the shipper only. Using Saxon because we need to-we don't care for saxon's approach at all. That would be one star.

Helpful when grading. Now, I no longer have to work each incorrect problem to figure out which step went wrong.

The solutions are clearly written. The book walks you step by step to the answer. I would recommend this manual for anyone who has purchased Saxon's Algebra 2 math book.
