AndisDrive Assembly Lever Replacement Blade for Pet Clipper

Several years ago, I purchased a high quality ($$$) trimmer for my dogs. I worked great for several years, but at some point became intermittent, ie, cut great, then nothing, then great again. It was very frustrating and I kept purchasing new blades.... Finally I decided that I was missing something... so I went to youtube, after finding the one random guy who fixes these and videos it, it was a $5 piece that fixed years of cut/no-cut frustration! Fix was super simple once I had the basic knowledge.

This drive assembly works just fine. The supplier sent it promptly, it was delivered on time, the package was appropriate, and the seller did not tack on a bunch of shipping charges like most suppliers. It also did not make me purchase $25 or more in products to get the free shipping. So a BIG thumbs up for PedEdge! Other reviewers have said that these drives break for them on a frequent basis and my experience is the opposite. I used my Andis AGC2 Super unit for about three years without this drive assembly breaking. I purchased this one only because my Andis clipper failed to cut after this many years. It turns out that I did not NEED this unit, replacing the first one with this second one did NOT restore function. The problem with my clipper is somewhere deeper inside. The eccentric bearing that slides the drive assembly and thus the blades is NOT rotating. So after three years of use I did NOT need this drive assembly. I had to purchase a new clipper instead. So now I have a spare drive assembly that perhaps I will never need. They seem to be very dependable (compared to the clipper motor itself!).

I order this part regular and it always arrives early and without issues. The drive works well, is easy to install, and lasts about a month.

Blade drives need to be changed often for groomers and I wasn’t sure which would be the best place to purchase my blade drives. These came in quickly and as advertised. They are good quality and work with my andis clippers.

Direct fit! Not as long lasting as others. Built ok! Would buy again in a pinch. Also a bit over priced

If you think you need a new blade, you probably are wrong. A new blade didn't fix my issue. It was this part that made all the difference in the world.

I am a professional groomer and I use Andis clippers. The heavy and annoying AG (2 speed) model. These are easy to install in your clippers if you're on top of your game! Cool little things. They keep my monster heavy weight champion clippers quiet and healthy. The clippers make the blades cut poorly and will unnecessarily heat up your clippers, if you don't buy one of these every 3 or so months (At 34 hours worth of use per week). Read the instructions before installing - they help!
