Added a bit of luxury to a dressy poncho

I've worked with black yarn before and although it's difficult, it's even more difficult when you add sticky fur to it and ultra thin working yarn. The fur sticks to itself and gets tangled up so once you crochet up a section, you likely won't be able to rework it. The fur is incredibly thin and doesn't have any structure to it so your project will be void of any real detailed shape. The actual yarn/string you are working with is only slightly thicker than the fur itself so it's hard to find your working stitch and doesn't mesh nicely with standard gauge acrylics.Applications: The material worked very well for my projects involving long haired dogs (long-haired German shepherd, sheepadoodles, labrodoodles, etc). Unfortunately the sheepadoodle turned out more "blobby" since the whole thing was made with this yarn.Edit: For crocheters: it really helps to work in half-double crochet. It's easier to find your stitch and doesn't get tangled as much (still happens though).

Love the texture. It is identical to black fun fur eyelash yarn, so it worked perfectly for my project that i started with fun fur. Definitely will be purchasing again.

It is nice yarn for the price but sheds terribly while knitting with it. When I finish when I’m making this project, I will wash it and hopefully it will stop shedding, I feel bad complaining , it was a very good price.

I have ordered from this exact listing twice, and I have gotten two completely different products with different labels etc. I have been quite happy with both orders. Just beware if you are counting on getting an identical lot.
