The pros are it is a full over full bunk bed that can accommodate the weight of two adults in both the top and bottom bed. It also came with a trundle that will accommodate a child or one adult. Sturdy one it is fully assembled. The bed has a nice look to it with the trundle looking like a drawer.The biggest con is the number of pieces to assemble and the lack of detailed instructions. Many pieces very similar in size and in a numbering scheme but no details as to whether you are starting top to bottom or bottom to top. No tips for common mistakes when assembling. Some of the pieces were marked with the wrong identifier and it took some time to figure out what the number should be on that piece. I have seen instructions that identify the right side and left side and that would have been helpful with all the pieces needed to make this bed. I think next time if assembly was offered at a price, I would choose that option as it took several days to assemble because of the frustration level and needed to walk away and come back to work on it again.

Once assembled this bed has been good for my kids. It is attractive and works well. It would be more comfortable if there were pieces of solid wood on top of the slats because you can feel the slats and the gaps between them through the mattress we have. That said, the kids sleep well on the bed.The one thing is that it is quite the puzzle to assemble. I've grown accustomed to IKEA furniture and putting this bed together made me realize how much effort IKEA goes to to ensure that assembly is standardized and easy to follow. This bed had something like a dozen different fasteners and pages and pages of instructions. I needed an electric drill with a couple different bits (drill to increase the hole depth for insufficiently-drilled holes, screwdriver bit and hex head bit). It also took me around 4 hours to fully assemble by myself.

Very happy with the bed so far! Took my husband and I about 3 hours to put together, which is not horrible. The instructions have NO words to follow only pictures so make sure to pay very close attention to the details in the pictures. Pieces were labeled which made it easier as well. The trundle bed will not allow a mattress any taller than 6 inches and that slides in snuggly with mattress cover and 2 sheets! Overall very happy with the purchase!

I searched the web and this was the best value. I am very pleased with it! Very well made and can’t beat the price!
