The AMVILAB brand's "Folic Acid 400mcg (670mcg DFE)" is a 200-day supply of folic acid in tablet form. Folic acid is a B vitamin that plays a role in cell division and DNA formation. The tablets are small and easy to swallow and have no taste, aftertaste, or scent. They come in a dark plastic bottle that is coded for recycling as type 1 resin. The small cap is easy to twist on and off as it is not child resistant. It is double sealed for freshness and safety. Pros: 400 mcg dose, which is the recommended daily intake for most adults Contains 670 mcg DFE (Dietary Folate Equivalents), a measure of how well folic acid from supplements is absorbed by the body Non-GMO and free of common allergens Made in GMP-certified facilities. A good value. Cons: None that we have noticed. This is a good formula I feel. I love that it's got Hawthorne in it because it really works well for me. It also has garlic which is a great remedy on it's own. It came well labeled and sealed. It's kind of thought over to it but it's not bad. It doesn't have a taste at all that I can tell. The pill size is not big it's clear gel caps and you can see a ground material inside. The only side effects that I have really noticed Is that these make me urinate more. I don't have any bad effects from them at all.

I used the entire bottle in conjunction with my BP meds. Didn't really notice any difference. each person is different so I guess maybe they had no eect on me. My BP didn't drop any lower.

I take Selenium supplements because has antioxidant properties and may protect cells from damage. This is thought to help delay aging effects. The capsules are easy to swallow with no after taste. The supplements were formulated in a US GMP certified and FDA approved facility. They don’t say anything about 3rd party testing so I have decided to deduct a star. AMVILAB has many highly rated supplements and these should be good as well.

I have been working on lowering my blood pressure the natural way with good eating habits, healthy exercise, and supplementing natural ingredients for prescription medicines. Recently had my blood pressure checked at the doctor, and noted that it was lower than the previous visit *however* a combination of lifestyle changes including healthier food and more exercise likely contributed more to this than these pills. That being said, based on the ingredients in these pills they seem like a good aide to help assist in possibly lowering your blood pressure, but I cannot confirm they actually did anything at all. I would not therecommend taking these alone to try and lower blood pressure - these pills were designed as a supplement to possibly help alongside the tree and true methods of better eating and more exercise!

I take Selenium daily and I have incorporated these 200mcg tablets from AMVILAB into my batch of supplements. They are a manageable size and easy to swallow. I recommend!

I'm very frustrated that the product page doesn't bother to list the ingredients. There's not even a photo of the supplement label. As soon as I received the product I ready the product label and saw "bovine gelatin". I am a strict vegetarian and would not have gotten these had I known. It's too bad because I was really looking forward to seeing if this supplement would help my blood pressure.

Got these because I can't only eat one Brazil nut and these capsules were the correct dose I needed. I like that these are manufactured in FDA GMP inspected facilities in the USA. However, they do not third party test which I feel is really important for supplements as how else can you be sure the ingredients are as started? Overall will look for another brand in the future but these seem to be effective.
