Just returned from a one month camping trip through the mountains of Eastern Oregon and Northern Nevada and the tablet holder worked awesome. It was easy to set up, fit my Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 with it's case on it with no problem, the adjustment was a breeze and it took a hell of a beating and worked flawlessly throughout. I spent a lot of time either four wheeling or on terrible roads and thought for sure with the weight of the tablet and the amount of shaking it underwent this thing was destined to fail. I was wrong, it took all that I threw at it without a single problem. Set up was a breeze, it took no more than 5 minutes to initially adjust it for the tablet, get it tightened in the cup holder and dial in the viewing angles. Switching from my tablet to my phone was also easy, I just slipped the tablet out and replaced it with the phone, no change in adjustment was necessary. On the occasion when I had to move it from one cup holder to another it took only seconds to do so. When I left the car parked for awhile and wanted the tablet out of sight it was simple to just slip it out of the holder when I left and easy to replace when I returned. What a great product at spectacular price! It's one of the best buys I made for the trip. I highly recommend it.

Original review (2018): I like that this cell phone holder leverages one of the many cupholders rather than mounting to my vent louvres or being permanently adhered to my dash or windshield. And I like the height it puts my phone at. I do wish it had a bit more flexibility, though; I thought it would have one more joint than it did based on the images online. Still, it has served me well so far, and has stood up to hot and cold temps with no apparent degradation thus far. Even knowing it is a bit less flexible than I had hoped, I would buy it again. Update (2024): I've been using this thing in my pickup truck since buying it in 2018. And in the past 3+ years, it's had to endure the punishing heat of Southern Texas. And still it works great. Honestly, I am loving it as-is. I don't think any extra articulation would have been helpful, since it would likely have just resulted in increased instability. If this thing ever fails/cracks under the heat, I will definitely buy another, if they are still available!

I am totally blown away by how this works! The base fits right in my multi diameter cup holder.. it works on a screwbasis and pushes the walls of it out ... neat idea and works very well. The top part is very sturdy!!! Even at 50mph and choppy water it does not move very much at all Works Great!

This phone/ tablet holder is a pretty good value for the price. Its sturdy, the base that goes into the cupholder is easily enough expandable to ensure its locked in. I would say the grip strength of the arm that holds the phone is good too, never had an issue with my phone falling... or even almost falling. Im pretty impressed with that, I have a ZFold5 and sometimes I have it hold my phone off-center and almost on the edge and it still has no problem holding onto my phone. There is one aspect of its design that could use improvement, its height is not fully adjustable. For my vehicle, its height can obscure the screen on my dashboard. There is a way to make it low, but that would block off my gearshift. If there were a way to gradually change the height, this thing would be almost perfect. Thst aside, this item is doing what i needed it to do, which is holding up my phone while in tablet mode. Its versatile enough for passengers to be able to see while im driving.

Based on one of the reviews I read, I had hoped this mount would work for my Garmin Drive 53 GPS device, but I wasn't able to position the GPS in a way to suit me. I clamped an acrylic block into the cup holder mount and then attached the Garmin windshield suction mount onto the acrylic block with the GPS attached to that. It's awkward and I'm constantly bumping into the GPS device with my hand to reach controls on the dash but for the time being it's working.

I bought this on a whim because the law changed in my state so now we get ticketed if you have your phone in your hand while on the road, even at a stop light, but I half expected to be annoyed by it. I honestly thought I was using my phone safely by quickly picking it up while driving to glance at it, but after using this device, I realize it's way better this way. Just having the phone at a set height and in the same place means I never have to fumble for it and there's no chance of dropping it between the seats or on the passenger side floor. It's super easy to see and interact with without having to lose focus on the road. The unit is a good height, easily adjustable and stable depending on your cup holder. My car isn't really suitable for attaching to a vent, and I'd worry in the winter with the heat blowing on it non-stop anyway. This is non-invasive, easy to transfer or remove from the cup holder if you absolutely need to use both cup holders more than your phone, and the phone is gripped tightly but is easy to remove even though I have one of those wallet flip-type cases on it. This mount also does not block access to any of the bottom ports so you can charge is easily while in this mount. Highly recommended.

I purchased this product to hold my 7 inch monitor for trailer backup camera. It is a rather light display. It has roughly the same dimensions as a small android tablet, however, has about 3/4 inch thickness. Fits the cupholder in my Silverado perfectly, and holds well enough. Holds the monitor well enough, and overall it is sturdy enough for my use. I would not call this heavy duty by any stretch of the imagination. It is a light duty product. For a light display with no case and only occasional use, you should be fine. I would not use this on a heavier display with heavy case or for ongoing usage. Its pretty flimsy. For the price and understanding the above, this product has a place in my truck. I really didnt want a suction cup window mount or any permanent mount. I also didnt want to spend $70 plus for a heavy duty mount, as I will only use this product maybe twice a month for a weekend. Overall, I would buy this product again if my needs dont change.

Bought this vehicle bracket to hold an iPad during a lengthy trip to the Yukon and I was alone in the vehicle. I was able to place the iPad in easy reach and screen readable if I wanted to change source. I was listening to Podcasts and it was handy to be able to view the screen to switch programs or skip ahead. Great product, very secure in cup holder in centre console.

This product has been great and fits into the cup holder with ease, and the device expands so your phone/tablet holds it firmly in place. Solid construction, and my first one I bought 3 years ago is still going strong! I drive on rough roads and everything stays put! Very happy with this purchase. It works both with my iPhone max and iPads.
