Freat action
Have not caught anything with it, but its action is very life-like. You can make it swim differently with different techniques. Reel it in slowly or twitch it like a spook, it acts very natural in the water.

Good buy
This lure is very realistic looking. Swims well and I think the predator fish will hammer it. There's proof on YouTube. I'm not sure on durability as I haven't thrown it in the river yet. But I'll update my review

1st cast wonder
Tied the lure on in Canada back in June. Made the typical comment you hear in the south, "watch this". Made a nice long cast and the lure hit about 6 inches from the rocky shoreline. After a pause to let the ripples settle out made one turn of the reel handle and boom. A nice three pound small mouth clobbered the mouse. Yeah that worked for me and it was followed by others the balance of the week.

Quality but slightly mislead
Was so stoked to see the lure had been delivered today! Went to grab it out of the mailbox and was slightly disappointed.The picture shows the lure has 2 treble hooks which is what I wanted but it only has one in the middle. The lure looks really good though and I'm excited to give it a shot but they should definitely change the picture to show the rat lure only has one treble hook. I'm giving it 3 stars for right now but that may change once I see it in action!I'll definitely be updating this once I get a chance to put it to the true test at our secret spot!UPDATE: Still slightly disappointed it didn't have the dual treble hooks but it works great! The tail got ripped off by the first fish but I didn't want to lose the replacement tail so I was using it without a tail and still pulled several fish including a 3lb largemouth within about 15-20 minutes.When I do put the replacement tail on, I'll be putting some hot glue where the tail meets the body to make it last longer.Besides that, it's an awesome lure! 10/10 recommend!

Oh man I can't wait to go fish with this Savage 3D rat... It is so realistic, can't wait to catch that largemouth bass.

I really like the quality of this lure. Haven't caught a bass with it yet but I've had several strikes. I wish the rat had two sets of hooks. The bass keep short striking the lure, thereby missing the hook. A forward and rear set of treble hooks would probably fix it. It is big and heavy, not going to catch any small fish.

Best looking rat lure ever
Wow, so life like . Can't wait to use it. Good price . Swims like the real thing lots of detail went into this rat life. Best I've seen yet. I have bought 3 colors black, brown and grey.

Biggest piece of $40 garbage I’ve ever seen. Shows up and the plastic is so brittle it starts to fall apart right out of the box never even used it once. Will be messaging savage gear directly as well as they need to step up their quality level. Don’t waste your money
