I tighten my skates a bit more than I probably should, therefore skate bite is an ever present issue. I find that the extra cushion at the right point in this sock really increases comfort. I also put gel skate bite protectors in the tongue of my skates. The two part solution has gotten rid of the issue for me.

These are compression socks and are perfect for wearing under your hockey gear and skates! I love them!
