Make sure everything is tight
Comes with a USB-C cable (one end 90 degrees, so it fits into the back of the charger piece more easily), the charger piece, and the vent mount clip. The vent mount twists so you can extend/retract the "hook" that you put into the vent. The idea is that you can hook it around the back edge of the vent blade, instead of the cheaper pinch clips - which gives it vastly more stability. It seems to work vertically and horizontally, though if done vertically it may slide down to the bottom of the vent blade over time. The charging piece has the receiving end for the ball joint on the vent mount. You loosen the retaining ring and pop the ball joint in, then tighten it. This is very important - if you don't do this tightly then the weight of your phone on the magnet mount will slowly pull it down (and it's amplified because the force acts like a kind of lever due to the distance from the joint). So just make sure you have this retaining ring very tight once you position the charging pad as you wish. The charging pad has a very strong magnet. I've got a couple magnetic car mounts already (this is to upgrade and add charging) as well as a few magnetic puck-like ones for a desk/nightstand, and this is stronger than all of them. I've never had a problem with my phone falling off the current ones so with this one I expect it'll be more than sufficient. I have an S23 Ultra with a magsafe-compatible case, and it works great with this. This does include things you can attach to the back of your phone/case for alignment and grip if you don't have such a case or phone, but I can't say how well they work since I didn't use them. The big difference this one has as compared to other similar magnetic + charging mounts is the fan. When it's been charging for a moment there is a small fan that turns on and blows air around the edge of the magnetic connection. This helps keep the back of the phone cool - which is nice since wireless charging tends to heat up the back of the phone more than a wired connection would. I haven't been on any long trips to say it's empirically better, but so far it seems to help.

Keeps your phone cool(er)
I got this charger and another similar charger from this same manufacturer at the same time. This one is for my wife's car, and the other one was for my car. The chargers are very similar, except that this charger has a built-in fan to help keep both the charger and your phone cooler during charging. Because of the similarities between this charger and the other charger, both this review and the review that I provided for the other charger are somewhat similar. The installation of this car charger could not have been easier. It comes with a vent-mount that is probably familiar to most people who have tried a few different car-mounts and car-chargers, with a hook that goes into the vent and engages one of the louvers from behind, and is then drawn-up snug to the exterior portion of the mount, which grips the mounting assembly tightly to the vent. It's a tried-and-true system that is employed by a wide variety of car-mounts. That assembly is then connected with a ring-mount to a ball that is disposed on the back of the piece that engages the phone. By tightening the ring, the ball is more firmly retained, which in turn holds the phone in a desired orientation. This charger does not come with the power supply needed to power the magsafe wireless charging pad. However, I was able to merely use the USB-C connection from the charger that I was previously using to plug directly into my phone, and plug that into this magsafe charger. Installation complete. My android phone (with the magsafe ring on the back that I attached myself) seems to be firmly retained by this charging head. I would have to encounter quite a problem in the car before it ever shook free, and yet I am able to very easily remove it from the charging head when desired. Of course, the magsafe elements ensure that the phone is always correctly positioned on the charging head for efficient wireless charging. And in that vein, none of this would be worthwhile in the slightest if the charging head didn't adequately charge my phone while driving around. And what do I mean by adequately charging my phone, you ask? Well, I require quite a bit in that regard. First, I often use a navigation program. Second, I always use a bluetooth connection to the OBD-2 adapter in my car, so that I can view engine operating parameters (and other information) that a standard information cluster doesn't provide. Third, who drives around without some tunes? And the radio never plays the boomer-era music that I'm interested in, so I have to stream that. Fourth, it seems that one program or another is often updating, so I have to account for that. So, adequate charging means that I test a phone charging system by whether it can increase the battery-level on my phone while it is doing all four of the things mentioned above. And just to stress the charger a bit more for a safety margin, I add in a streaming video (which I never do while driving, but which I only do for the initial stationary test of the charger).I didn't know if a magsafe charging-head, with a 15w charging limit (according to the standard), would be sufficient for this torture test. Well, I'm pleased to report that it was. Just barely. As I sat and watched the level of my battery charge during the test, it very slowly crept up by a few percentage points. But that's okay. As long as the battery wasn't discharging, everything was good. One thing about wireless charging in general (and so, it also applies to the magsafe standard), is that there are certain inefficiencies in transferring the power from the charging head to the phone, which inefficiencies are not present in a wired connection. These inefficiencies express themselves as heat generation. Thus, wireless charging produces more heat than wired charging. This wonderful charging device has a built-in solution for that issue, in the form of a fan that helps cool both the charging head and the phone during use. Because (as mentioned above) I also have a similar magsafe charger in my other car, I was able to verify that the fan in this charger did indeed help keep both the charger and the phone cooler than would otherwise be the case without the fan. Did the fan keep the system ice-cold? No, but it doesn't really need to. Any degree of cooling is beneficial, and this fan produces what I would call adequate cooling. So, I'm very pleased with this charger. It's small, out of the way, convenient, provides some cooling, and provides all the power that I need. Highly recommended.

The screw-tight vent mounts are way better than the simple friction clips, No Charger included.
The screw-tight vent mounts are way better than the simple friction clips. This thing reaches a clip back behind the vent louver and grabs it. Then you tighten the screw mechanism onto the louver. It makes a tight and robust lock. So that's a huge benefit. The inductive charge system worked well even through a rather thick case that I have for my phone. My 12 phone was held on solidly with no worries of it falling off... again, with a rather thick case installed. The position of the holder can be up or down and has some adjustability to the angle so you can position it towards you.Be sure to carefully examine your car vents and where they are located relative to your HVAC and Touch-Screen. This may block some of that. In my case, the apparatus sticks out far enough that nothing was blocked. In another car I have, it would not have worked well. The only issue is that this did NOT come with a charger, so I was left to find a charger with the latest high-power QC and PD ratings for at least 9V 2A. Since amazon has thousands, it actually takes quite a bit of time to find one. Too many to choose from so it would have been nice if they just included one in the this kit. Also, the cable is about 3ft which is just a little too short for the center console (behind my e-brake) cigarette lighter power port.

Very stylish product.
This product looks so cool on the dash.Due to not having car play in my car, this gives me the ability to have something similar. The ability fix the phone in landscape or portrait is very handy. I have used this mount for a few weeks now, covering many miles and my has remained fixed to the mount, with no signs of coming off. It’s also really easy to pull your phone off the mount with an easy tilt. The charging function works really well, even with a reasonably thick MagSafe case on my phone. The light up ring on the mount makes it easy for you to locate in the dark.True 5 star product of real good quality!

This sits proudly in my car
This is my first mag safe charger and I am really impressed with it. Looks great and 'm really impressed by the build quality and also design. doesn't come with an actual charger but it does come with a cable.Magnets are strong and hold the phone in place. It cones with two types of clips one for the air vent and one that sticks on the dashboard. All in all a good buy.
