Carbon steel is the way to go..
Its a very good wok.. does not stick food very wasily but need to season before use by heating up and greasing it.

It sticks food at the bottom
I don’t like these because the food get stuck at the bottom of the pot too easily. I wouldn’t have bought it if I had read a review like what I’m writing. I had to buy another wok! Not good….in my opinion. You have to scrape the bottom to remove the crust then you end up removing the enamel….I could go on and on

Pretty decent wok!
This KITEXPERT Carbon Steel Wok is a pretty solid piece of cookware for the price. It is Carbon steel, similar to cast iron in that it needs to be seasoned/oiled to prevent sticking and rusting. It will take some getting used to if you haven't used carbon steel or cast iron before.The price to performance for this carbon steel wok is quite good. The handle is a bit janky and the lid isn't perfect, but this isn't a premium product and I didn't expect it to feel like one. It is a bit heavy, but nowhere near cast iron heavy. I also find the fact that the title and description state this is non-stick a bit misleading.If you've never cooked with cast iron or carbon steel, I highly recommend doing some research before using it to get the best experience. This isn't like non-stick where you just fire it up and throw food in it. It needs to be preheated thoroughly on a low-med heat for a few minutes before using. It will take some practice to get perfect.Overall, I recommend this KITEXPERT carbon steel wok. It's a good bang for your buck carbon steel wok and as long as you take the time to care for it, it should last a very long time.

Carbon Steel Goodness
I've been using this for a couple of months as a daily pan by, often use a smaller lid to simmer cook seared steaks. Proper carbon steel, i've been fooled in the past, no not this time. Delighted even though at first I want a smaller wok though perhaps the larger heat dissapation is what contributes to superior cooking qualities. Get a smaller lid to add more versatility from this wok.

Rust Spots After Short Use
I was sooo looking forward to getting and using this wok. We cook a lot of foods that require a good wok. Despite the initial good cooking performance, unfortunately it began to develop rust spots after a few uses. I followed the care instructions carefully; it seems it wasn’t made as well made as expected.
