I love these treads! They have a sticky backing that helps them stay in place.

First off, the color and design is great. They look classy and blend in nicely with the finish on my stairs. Super easy to install, just make sure to really clean and dry the tread surface first and they will adhere very well. It is nice with the built-in adhesive back and they are repositionable to get that perfect placement. They feel good walking on them as the feel padded and are definitely more slip resistant than the bare wood. My cats like to sleep on them and so far the treads have held up to their claws as they run up and down the stairs.

I really like these stair treads! They are almost a memory foam material, I was expecting more of a fabric / carpet feel but they are kind of squishy. It's nice though, not annoying.The only hard part of installation is peeling off the plastic to get the sticky side. The plastic is really thin, so it will rip easily and you'll struggle (like me) to peel off the stray bits of plastic. I recommend peeling from one side, and peeling by pulling off the seam so it comes off nicely. Once I figured out how to do that, it was super easy.The adhesive on the back is great, I haven't had any issues with lifting. They do come packaged folded in half so you have to press down the center to get them flat, but after a day or so they flatten out just fine.These are a good product for a good price, I recommend!

When we removed the carpet from our stairs and refinished the wood I quickly realized that my 5yr old going up/down the stairs in her socks could be an issue.. she was sliding all over the place! Who knew that the carpet was so beneficial to preventing falls!We definitely didn’t want to redo the carpet because it was too heavy looking and difficult to clean. I’d seen these but worried they’d also slip around and/or look tacky.. thankfully they didn’t look bad, and they feel pretty nice underfoot. The part that made me most happy was they stay put! That’s a great thing for us with kids flying down the stairs, I have been trying to get them to slow down but they’re kids and sometimes they sneak by.. so at least I know the stairs aren’t crazy dangerous now!

These really spruce up the look of my basement stairs! Even more importantly, though, they add a huge layer of protection to slippery stairs. The bonus, of course, is how nice these look. They would be great anywhere in the home.It’s fascinating to pull the plastic backing off and have a lightly sticky material exposed that sticks wonderfully to the stairs. One would think that it is definitely not sticky enough, but as soon as you put it down, it stays!This is a simple, attractive, quick, and inexpensive fix to any bare stairs. Highly recommend!!

I really liked this pattern combination, and loved the ease of installation. It comes with an adhesive backing that sticks well, so I'd suggest using staples or double stick tape to place them, try them out in your preferred location, and then peel the backing off to set them exactly right.
