Works well . not sure you have quite the same control you have with a manual one , but it sure makes life easy doing big jobs and I like the way it retracts to stop drips. also the light is bright and very handy.

Can be a bit heavy but that helps with keeping it on target a truly good piece off kit the light on the end is supa bright value for money excellent,it also doubles up as a toy gun to chase grandkids

I thought this power tool might be a solution to my problems with grip, especially when sealing a long stretch. It certainly relieves hand strain and the battery enables a great deal of usage. The tool is well made and quite weighty, especially with the battery fitted. I found that a period of practice is necessary to handle the characteristics of the tool as it is very different to using the manual types. Pressing the operating switch (trigger-like) enables the push rod to press inside the sealer tube and release sealer. This is a fairly fast release and one needs to be quick on the mark and move the tools along the line to be sealed. Releasing the trigger causes the push rod to reverse slightly and stops sealer escaping. Overall, I found the tool to be a little difficult to use and I also had a problem with the push rod not pushing centrally inside the sealer tube. This caused a serious mess - the push rod, which is serrated, and tube holder became coated in sealer and were really difficult to clean. This also wasted a large quantity of sealer. I think that with practice the tool could be a really useful addition to the armoury of a professional user, but the potential waste of sealer and time cleaning any mistakes for the casual user makes it a tool I wouldn’t recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I’m not sure if I got a dud one, because a lot of reviews say that the bus is too fast! Maybe a snail wrote those reviews I’m unsure because it takes just under 1 minute to empty one tube on full speed. The gun looks great, the light is incredibly handy and but the speed is generally too slow for use in my trade. ( Fire Protection) probably be great for small mastic lines around the house but not ideal for site work

It does the job very well, really happy. I finished my diy skirting install 10 times faster than a manual gun and without hand pain. For me worthed the money.
