great solution for anchoring things to the edge of decks and other platforms with lips
I love innovative things and ordered the 12PCS AVOFOREST Tent Stakes Aluminum Deck Tie Downs because of how clever the design is. These stakes caught my attention because they're specifically designed for anchoring tents on decks, which makes them perfect for various outdoor setups. They allow you to anchor down to the edge of a deck or other (1.7" or less thick) platform without doing any damage or compromising the safety of the anchorMy initial impressions, even though I haven't had the chance to test them out on a camping trip yet, are positive. They are very sturdy construction, but not too heavy. And although I wouldn't take them on a backpacking trip, they are small and light enough to throw in the car for when we head up to a drive up campsite. The design of these stakes is clever. You just push down and twist the hook end under the deck and the spring keeps it in place. Additionally, the top of the spring is bent to prevent any accidental finger injuries during setup, which I as a clumsy person really appreciate. One thing to note is that some users have mentioned that inserting the stakes into harder ground may require additional effort. However, once properly installed, they provide reliable stability, even in adverse conditions.Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and functionality of these tent stakes. While I haven't put them to the test on an actual camping trip yet, I'm confident they'll perform admirably when the time comes. I'll update my review if anything goes awry when I use them in a real life application nut can say for now, that if you're in need of reliable tent anchoring solutions for your outdoor (deck) adventures, these stakes are definitely worth considering.

Works but weak springs
I've always seen people use these anchor pegs on youtube, especially when setting up a tent on a platform. Finally was able to get it and set it up on our patio, since it has a platform deck. My initial reaction was impressive because how functional and simple this tool was. It works great, but I had to take off one star because the spring was weaker than expected. They probably are the achilles heel for this peg because it doesn't feel high quality, but it's not bad. These will work and I'm sure will last for years, but if they improve on using better springs, this would be a 5 star product.

Strong hold
I used these stakes to tie down some plant stands that I made from 2x4 lumber. I want to be sure my grand kids would not get hurt while playing on the deck. So with safety in mind I put some rope on the back of the stands and I tie them down with the stakes. It was easy to install you just push the "fish head" in, twist and tie the rope to it. It really stays in place. These are well made and I appreciate the peace of mind that brought me. Strongly recommend.

Perfect Anchors
Perfect little anchors for tents, canopies, etc... Once slotted in, they do not move and are very strong for their size.

Quality deck tent stakes
These are my first deck tent stakes, so I don't have any to compare them to. But I go go camping quite a bit, and I know these are good quality, not worried about these getting broken during my trips after using them the first time on a pretty windy AND snowy weekend. The coil is strong, and I needed to push down with a bit of force in order to turn it in order to lock it on the tent platform at a campsite. I really like the type of carabiners that are used with the stakes. It's not the typical ones with poor springs that always wind up breaking. Happy with them, glad I have these deck stakes now so I don't have any restrictions on where to pitch my tent. Would highly recommend.

Work well and are easy to use.
I used these to tie down a canopy on my deck and they held very well. You just need to slip these between the boards, twist, and the spring holds it in place. The boards will need to be at least 1/2" apart and no more than an inch. They are real basic but do their job well.
